Could Myanmar and Bangladesh Go To War Over the Rohingya Crisis?

If war comes BD will be impacted greatly. There will be no real winners. But sometimes you do have to go to war, this is one such time.

BD has no friends, we will have to fight alone. Sometimes you cannot control the hand you are dealt with.

To shy away from a fight from a bully is never the answer, they will continue to take advantage and their audacity will increase each time. It is better to fight and accept a black eye if need be. The bully will never fight you again.

@Imran Khan

Hahahah sir-jee salaam to your stupidity. India has already solved the issue on 4th of September by giving complete support to Myanmar and army chief Aung Hlaing to remove most of the Rohingya [or Bengali illegal migrants] from Rakhine.
Do you know UNFPA called for immediate funding of $13 million for lifesaving reproductive health and gender based violence response services to women and girls who constitute an estimated 67 percent of the new arrivals.
As most are pregnant and expecting to cater to some undisclosed percentage many have been raped by Myanmar forces.
This is something bigger than war. Bangladesh is not humanitarian btw, the yare only doing it due to some pressure as they treat Rohingya worse thanothers and are partly responsible for this genocide.

only problem here is you ignoring position of myanmar and bangladesh in front of india . just think again abut my stupidity and may god help you . they are very small countries with small forces and resources and influence .india can help them in this case .

India will intervene and it won't happen.
wrong india will never allow it first place

"india" and "help" do not go together; its oxymoronic. As a veteran I hope you can look through history and see if there was any trace of help other than problem, conflict, subversion, terror, hegemony and bully from india?

Thankfully some indian shitholes in garb of PAkistani member post are exposed.

Peace comes between equals or with aligned interests
not between gandhis like you waiting to bend over backwards asking for more with hindutva terrorists dreaming of muslim free South Asia through extermination and porgroms.
it was nice to chit chat with you sir bye :rolleyes1:

Myanmar's army chief, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, said the violence - 93 clashes since Aug. 25 - was a bid by the insurgents to "build a stronghold", according to speech to officer trainees, posted on a military Facebook page.

Make no mistake, he is the man behind all the violence. While the world focuses on Suki, he is ignored. He planned it that way, and it appears to be working.

It is indeed a non-military aggression coming from Burma. They have laid a groundwork should Bangladesh spearhead any assault against Rakhine. By inducing us to attack, they have indeed created that advantage. And thankfully, we didn't give them that advantage. When the Burmese posters here say that Bangladesh is a distant thought, it's either they are lying or is brainwashed. They have very well factored Bangladesh into their strategy.

Much of the country's affairs are controlled by their military. And there isn't much chance for that to be going away anytime soon. The only significant change now is that civilians have some power. What people do not realize is that both Suki and the generals sing from the same Buddhist nationalist ideology. The difference is that she is a civilian. She wanted a piece of that power (her father being a military leader once upon a time). At heart, she is a ruthless politician. They are a stubborn people.

You know, India has made donations to the refugee crisis. China? Not a single cent.

For as long as their military controls civilian affairs, that country will never realize its full potential (with or without Suki). China is the main beneficiary here. They want influence in South and South East Asia and control as many points as possible should any conflict with the US surface. Thailand's deportation of suspected Uyghur separatists is a testament to the reality. And there's the SCS drama. These are all linked.

India has investments, but nowhere near the strategic depth that China has. They are competing against China. If anything, that military regime needs to be destroyed for the Burmese civilian to realize his/her full potential. Otherwise, they are the ultimate losers in the end.

Bangladesh cannot do this alone. It needs friends. And Bangladesh doesn't have any 'real' ones at present.

"india" and "help" do not go together;

Keep your friends close and your enemies closer.

What is happening over there is beyond your party politics.

Please advise what trap that BD has not fallen into?

Dumbest thing I have ever read.

BD military one assumes have not been sitting around either.

If you are not going to react when attacked what is the point of a military. Burmese action is a direct attack on BD, we need to respond in kind.

Neither china or India will fight for MM.

Unfortunately, BD is full of cowards like some posters here.
Myannar has declared war on BD already by declaring Rohingya as BD'shi and now terrorising them into BD.

Well said.
Bangladesh cannot do this alone. It needs friends. And Bangladesh doesn't have any 'real' ones at present.
Specially this part.
Burmese action is a direct attack on BD
How?
we need to respond in kind.
By killing ethnic Burmese, Marmas in BD? So they run to Myanmar? Or start killing the Buddhists in BD? This is the only response in kind I can think of. And no this should never be done by BD.
Unfortunately, BD is full of cowards like some posters here.
Myannar has declared war on BD already by declaring Rohingya as BD'shi and now terrorising them into BD.
Only an Idiot would get into a fight where the risk of losing far outweighs the gains.

Sure, no one like war, including myself. If one is imposed on you, you have no choice but defend yourself. That is the situation we are in. But with indian stooge regime in Bangladesh, even defense is not in place.
So before thinking of a war against Myanmar, go wage a war against your government.
But alas! in a democracy majority wins so better think of changing your government through coup or other undemocratic means.

it was nice to chit chat with you sir bye :rolleyes1:
Finally, the RAW agent who rose to the rank of Field Marshall on PDF with over 35000 comments has been exposed of his Hindu India links.
