True i agree with you .. than we need to improve our organization and build a strong anti corruption organizations as well . to counter this ... only punishment would do the job .. may be hand few of them on public places so that they others would know about the severity of the crime what do you suggest ??

that is right as well ... and they say there is nothing better than democracy to hell with the democracy .... we need a system that is good for the people not for the leaders .. our current system serves the leaders more than people ...we need massive changes ....

I am curious about corruption in all South Asian countries it is such a bane...i seek to understand it and its deleterious effects..thats all.

The problem is the democracy works fine in the non Muslim countries i dont know what happens to it when it comes to Muslim countries and look around you would find that there is some thing off with this ... Iran is doing a great job they have got Presidential system , Saudia is also good enough amogg all the Muslims countries they have presidential system ...

Is Mexico is doing great under democracy or Venezuela or Colombia and several other countries? No, see the problem isn't with Muslim country being democracy, the problem is the countries you are mentioning are all past their Industrial Revolution.

The Brits, French, Spanish and Portuguese had their power from Imperialism, so did the Japanese. The US benefited from its geographic location (remained almost untouched during both the World Wars and benefits from the lack of challenge from the region).

Look at them now, most of Europe are going through stagnation, their industries are outsourcing elsewhere due to high wage demands along with tax-rates. By the end of the century most of them would fall behind Asian countries but if we can get rid of corruption or minimize it we can accelerate that process.

When British lord macaulay surveyed different characters of different nations in India. His perceptions on bengalis were like this. As without horn we cant call anything ox or without sting a bee. Similarly without deception no one becomes a Bengali.

So corruption deception these are in our bloods. We cant remove it so easily. Its something our own.
