Coronavirus cases and quarantine concerns in Pakistan - Who is responsible?

I can only laugh at these Shia pilgrims coming back from Iran complaining now.
The government explicitly asked them not to go to Iran and it was well known that there is an epidemic going on in Iran and if they had common sense, should not have gone to Iran in the first place.
Iran gets foreign revenue through these pilgrims, Pakistan gets nothing, but they are and will remain Pakistan's problem.
Only if they had some common sense, none of this had happened and the virus they brought to Pakistan is their fault and only theirs.

While Saudis were sane enough to shut down even Umrah which is such an important pilgrimage of Islam.
But Iran being greedy , dud not ban these so called pilgrims from coming to Iran . Will Iran also take responsibility? Don't think so.

China put an entire province on lockdown when it was spreading?What did Iran do?Let everyone go to other provinces/countries without even taking any measures. And top of that gov did not even own the mess until it was too late.

Many posters including myself repeatedly highlighted Iran's substandard approach to control or containment. We knew any Pakistanis going there were at great risk themselves.
However, It was going to break out in Pakistan regardless of this though, so two things: no point in these pilgrims complaining when they were told to not go in the first place and equally no point any of us complaining about the inevitable behaviour of an infectious disease in a third world nation.
I'm thinking out loud here but what matters most right now is enhanced and rapid treatment based on symptoms and avoiding contact between people within Pakistan. A move away from waiting for lab PCR results and instead relying on contact history and rapid CT scan results should take place, followed by admission and a solid treatment regime. I wonder if there is any scope for building a small mobile type facility in taftan with a ct scanner and enough docs and nurses drafted from the military partly to treat the milder patients there? If it's a few thousand infected there, we could treat it as a hot spot and keep everyone there and treat them there. Even with a thousand cases, most will be mild enough for non-intensive isolation ward treatment and perhaps 1-2% would actually need ITU transfer to a bigger city. Of course, hundreds of millions of dollars are needed to even contemplate this but in theory this would be a solution.
China prepared capacity early for the expected peak and followed some of the above principles. I don't think Pakistan really could have done so in light of its financial situation.

This tweet itself shows how Shia mentality works. They love to absolve Iran and play the victim to rile up their co-religionists.
Taftan border is well known to them. They knew in advance of the conditions. Pakistan had closed the Taftan border on Feb. 26 to protect its population from coronavirus epidemic. Pakistan had no plans to open the border . These thousands of pilgrims are actually all not pilgrims. Some are students as well as terrorists who serve for Iran in Syria and Iraq, they were residing in worst affected Qom who ran in fear thinking they will be safe and have not contracted the virus.
The shia adviser and close aide of Imran Khan, Zulfi Bukhari pressurized the govt. to take them in even though Pakistan had no plans and was not ready to cope with such a huge no. of people. Because of this thousands walked in without screening and are now overwhelming are pathetic healthcare facilities. 4000-5000 remained and were transported after shoddy screening after which Sindh province again screened them and found them having coronavirus. Some who had escaped screening were later found in hospitals.
One of the worst screw ups by this pathetic Govt. just because of Shia minister pushed border guards to allow them in.
