use a cornershot outdoors in the open??? is your CPRF really that obtuse and dumb?

No, the whole point of the weapon IS TO SHOOT ROUND CORNERS so the opposite of what you are suggesting. Moreover it is for use by the Rashtriya Rifles, the best dedicated counter insurgency force in the world (many outside observers have said this many times). Your forces fighting in SWAT could learn a thing or two from these guys, two decades plus facing the same, albeit better trained, kids as you lot. Get your facts straight you fool, they are going to use it exactly how it was intended to be used.
Funny its better than israeli corner shot...also how can POF copy an israeli weapon when we have no diplomatic relations with them or have them? brain fart of yours?

As for its quality its produced by POF a name which famous for its quality products.....also it weighs less than the israeli version....its "screen/display led" is bigger than israeli one... also an atomatic MP-5 version can be mounted on it unlike the israeli version which only fires semi-handguns.
Just look at the mechanism, almost identical. And actually the Israeli one can be fitted with modified M-16.
Do you mean Bangladeshi farmers or Pakistani fishermen? The Dalai Lama maybe?

It is to be used against enemies of democracy, pluralism and freedom- regardless of nationality. Mess with the best, die like the rest.

Members here are just upset these guys are so damned good at what they do- eliminating the ignorant scum who come over the border to wage war on a free and open people.

All such systems look identical.... doesnt mean we ripped them off... how could we copy a system we never had... as for M-16 no it cant carry an assualt rifle... tht is so dumb...lol...

Do your homework first pal before you get dismissive. Just because Pakistan can't do it doesn't mean it can't be done, on the contrary:

For future reference I don't state things unless I know they are 100% fact.

dude, you're a mess.....re-read my post.

shoot around corners....well gee whiz, that wont help you too much out-doors will it? It's role would be so minimal that mass-inducting them would be retarded. Actually what motivated POF to design the cornershot was to deal with terrorist incidents involving hostage situations, highly tactical indoor engagements/situations etc. Situations like what was faced @ the seminary in lal masjid

and we dont need to ''learn a thing or two'' from indian because on COIN we've learned and are perfecting it on the job...

anyways, carry on

If you had actually watched the video he posted, you would have learnt exactly how it is useful OUTSIDE. In fact most of the demonstrations they show are in outdoor situations. For example, while approaching a building housing a terrorist, which they have to approach, take cover behind something, and shoot at the building, while not exposing themselves from behind cover. That would be a typical scenario for RR.
The documentary is hosted by a former US navy seal, and features the designer of the system - an ex israeli SF soldier explaining it.
And yes it would be useful in hostage rescue or indoor situations also, which is why the NSG and MARCOS have already inducted them.

Well thankfully janon (^^) has said most of what I'd want to say. The only thing I'd like to add is RR is a professional, highly experienced force who knows what they want/need and who are you to comment on their operational practices/requirements?

I have seen many members(green ones) denying something which they are neither experienced nor justified in. Thanks for the information though!

A fully automatic glock with incendiary rounds might do a decent job at killing militants as compared to a regular 9mm (might also start a fire).
