What's new

Copy copy copy!!!

I agree, Urdu is a very beautiful language. All languages are not made equal. There structure sometimes makes them beautiful like the so called romantic languages like French, Itallian, Catalan and Portuguese which makes poetry especially transcendent in those languages. German for example is universally considered a harsher language.

When I compare poetry in pure Hindi vs poetry in Urdu, I have to admit I find Urdu poetry specially beautiful.

Pity I can't read Urdu and have so far only heard it.
Well urdu lang has a very very rich structure and lot of politness and sweetness attached to it. MashaAllah.
I also like koshuri its very beautiful sounding

@sarthak ganguly do u have app, and tum seperate pronouns in koshur?

@SarthakGanguly

I did not go through the whole thread
I just wanted weigh in

So here it is

PASTE PASTE PASTE

Indians should not copy our songs. Buy legal rights.
Spend money & learn to appreciate singers
That's the thing.. many Pakistani songs were copied and there were no copy rights attached to them back then.
It looks immoral, but the law permits it.

Even if they were copyrights would India or even Pakistan had cared ?
Secondly how would they have been enforced ?

Urdu is sweet as honey and smooth as butter. I love hearing Urdu poetry recital in cultural shows we have in India even though I can't understand many words.

What is Koshuri? Never heard that before. Is it a different dialect of Urdu?

Copyrights are essentially on a national level and let me begin with saying little can be done beyond national boundaries if one chooses to ignore.

However, that is not the case here and there has been no case of ignoring copy-rights.

We have the Berne Convention for protection of copyrights of artworks internationally. Almost all the members of UN are party to it, including India and Pakistan. All one will have to do is use the proper channel.

Also, I will suggest you to look into WIPO

BTW, our pop has always been more developed than India' from Junaid Jamshed to Sajjad Ali, Abrar, Rahim Shah Hadiqah, Shazia Manzoor......everyone knows their songs just that we dont watch many India movies to trace our songs back....Only those hit super hit list get to our ears through media and we can trace them back to our own.... :p:
Well, they are all 'Indian' now. We are inspired by the Chinese. So there too, you should have little say.

Nothing new.
Not having shame is Indian culture.

There may be nothing wrong with copying but declaring it as yours and receiving awards for other ppl's work without acknowledging them and as though you came up with it on your own is kinda disgusting!
From your water to your tunes - we shall copy them all. Hell, now we have gone a step further and decided to directly import your singers and actors. Many have settled in Mumbai and work exclusively for the Indian industries. Money talks.

And when someone steals Indian songs within India ...2 carore compensation for 6 sec of similarities
Because we are evil. And smarter in this respect.

Not really. We use(d) Che(h) for 'You'. Many use Aap now though not of Koshur origin.
If you want to go strict, use Tohay for you. Hardly used in regular discussions.

Yet another chawwal from india

Inspired doesnt mean copy ...How does China fit in the VERY FACT that you do copy from Paksitan

Bravo at beign famous for uttering rubbish

So there too, you should have little say.
Thread is not about China....Chinese members can bash you in a min just mention some and try
Your attempts to tempt Chinese members is pathetic here since you miss them soo much: @Chinese-Dragon
