Same goes for the movies. Indians need to start thinking, especially when it comes to movies. All their movies are based on Hollywood movies, general idea is the same, no different.
Oh yes ofcourse imeant all movies and songs etc. They have copied a lot lot of stuf from i think our urdu movie industry from 50s to 80s. Its period of glory. Atlesst thats what iknow,

Ya but i was speaking of urdu in the context of our dramas and music's appeal and success. Lets accept it urdu is a very civil language. And this is one thing u will even see indians accepting and admiring.

, urdu and pushto ,brushaski shina etc offer us pronouns like aap, tum and tu. Since in these langs we can say aap which is a respect-specific pronoun so thats what i call civil, and also few more things.

I agree, Urdu is a very beautiful language. All languages are not made equal. Their structure makes them beautiful like the so called romantic languages like French, Italian, Catalan and Portuguese which makes poetry specially transcendental. German for example is universally considered a harsher language.

When I compare poetry in pure Hindi vs poetry in Urdu, I have to admit I find Urdu poetry specially beautiful.

Pity I can't read Urdu and have so far only heard it.
