How about the OP stop using the word "copy" which seems to be the bone of contention here......
because the original and the "refined" versions do have some tweaks with regards to instruments used, added beats, synthesized music...
So to call it a copy ie. suggesting its an identical pick and pack is a bit far fetched...
I believe using the term "based on a Pakistani song" is a better analysis of the situation..
Also, as the OP claims...his/her intention was not to joke but poke...that's definitely quite evident from the use of her words and terminology when speaking about this situation.
Lastly, I do agree that credit should be given to the original song or at least acknowledged..
Nevertheless, if some monetary compensation is being expected, then please give it a rest! Aint gonna happen esp given the amount of piracy of Bollywood films that happens in Pakistan.
Pakistan has a lot of talent...just hidden in a mine full of coal.
Only an expert jewel trader can separate gems from stones....we Indians seem to be those jewel traders!
