KOLKATA: The Bidhannagar detective department on Monday busted an alleged pornographic film shoot inside a marriage hall in Salt Lake and arrested all the cast and crew members. The pornographic clips being shot were to be uploaded on the internet.

"We have arrested 28 people, including seven women models, five male models, two directors and specialized sound recordists. We caught them while they were shooting inside the bathroom and bedroom," said an investigating officer.

Top police officers pointed out that the team hired the hall, Dishari, located right next to City Centre, from 9am on Monday for the shoot. "We have arrested Soumya Sankha Roy alias Raja, a resident of AG block, who had contacted Sonarpur resident Subhas Dhar Roy to produce the adult film clips. Roy had arranged for the models and other cast and crew members," said DC (DD) Kankar Prasad Barui. "The owner of the hall, Tapabrata Ghosh, and his associate, Archan Kar, were arrested as they allowed the shoot on their premises in their very presence. They agreed after being verbally offered Rs 7,500 in cash."

A source said while the models were paid a measly Rs 1,000 per shoot per day, the cameras, which were expensive ones, were hired for Rs 35,000 for a day . The total money spent on a day's shoot at the hall was more than Rs 87,000, said the source. The models reportedly told the police that they agreed to the assignment as they were falsely told that it was a documentary shoot and that they found out about the adult films only after arriving on the spot.

The police pointed out that unlike in the past, the directors and producer did not go into recording the alleged adult act on a video cassette or CD. "Raja, who has turned out to be the ring leader, tied up with an audio and video company, based out of Delhi. Within hours of the film being shot in Kolkata, the videos would have been uploaded on various websites. The profits, which would depend on the number of hits on the online links, would be divided into half, one portion going to Raja and his associates and the other to the Delhi audio company that uploaded the videos," an officer said.

"We have found a diary that gives details of the shoots over the past few days. We have learnt this was the final leg of the shoot, each clip lasting five-10 minutes," said an officer.

This is a strategically important matter, related to Nuclear warfare; use of Artillery in a NBCD environment and rapid deployment of logistical arms. Thanks for posting on PDF !!!!!

Spent 35,000 per day for camera whereas DSLR would be sufficient for **** film. Room in some resort for 10,000 per day is sufficient why book a hall for 87,000.
