Coordinated militants attacks foiled in Afghan capital Kabul

Afghan Intelligence, National Directorate of Security (NDS) following a statement on Sunday announced to thwart coordinated suicide bomb blasts and militants attacks in capital Kabul.

The source further added a group of militants armed with heavy weapons and suicide bombing vests were arrested in capital Kabul on Saturday night.

The suicide bombers were looking to carry out coordinated attacks on deputy Afghan president’s house and Afghan parliament on Sunday, Afghan NDS said following the statement adding that Afghan intelligence forces arrested the suspected insurgents during a special operation on Saturday night.

Afghan intelligence officials following the statement also added at least 5 terrorists including a Pakistani national were arrested along with suicide vests, AK-47 assault rifles, RPG rocket launchers, hand grenades, hundreds rounds of AK-47 ammos, Pakistani identity card with Pakistani currency and a telephone with Pakistani number which proves their links with insurgents on the other side of the border.

what is update on that particular incident?there were three people involved in that incident.can you plz tell us some detail about them or i will tell the members?
what is the previous name of your intelligence agency and on what basis that name was chosen?who trained your people and who is financing NDS?

do you know that three provinces of Afghanistan use Pakistani currency and many of Afghans have Pakistani identity cards.why you are not commenting on these things?

Congrats to Afghan Intelligence agency for foiling a major terror attack, What Afghanistan forces needs now is a Good Training and equipment. Aid to has to be increased for training Afghan forces.

Its a well known fact that the Taliban has sanctuaries and support from Pakistan meaning inside the country. It does not say the ISI did it. All it says its on the other side of the border.

RAMA:ISLAMABAD: The Afghan Government with collaboration of Indian Intelligence agency "RAW", Russian Intelligence agency "KHAD" and Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) of US have constituted a new intelligence agency with name Research and Analysis Mili Afghan (RAMA) to destabilize Pakistan.

The intelligence agency of three countries including US, India and Russia are providing training to officials of newly established intelligence agency RAMA, official and military sources informed Online. Official and military leadership have been informed about the constitution of RAMA because it was constituted against country’s national security department Inter Service Intelligence (ISI).

High level offices of Russian intelligence agency "Khad" and Indian Intelligence Agency "RAW" are providing training to Personnel and officers of RAMA in village of Afghan Province Noristan where they have formally setup training camps, sources added.

The headquarters of new Afghan intelligence agency is constituted in Jabul Siraj, District of Parwan Province, Afghanistan. Jabul Siraj was also the headquarters of Ahmed Shah Masood, sources said.

The country’s security departments have expressed fear that the Indian intelligence agency would use newly constituted Afghan intelligence agency to destabilize Pakistan and terrorist activities in Pakistan because a large amount of funds is being provided by India.

According to Afghan officials the newly constituted afghan intelligence agency has been constituted for security of Afghanistan but Pakistani authorities made it clear it would be used against Pakistan

KABUL, Afghanistan — Afghanistan’s intelligence agency says it has prevented a large terrorist attack in the capital, arresting a Pakistani national driving a truck packed with explosives in Kabul.

The agency says in a statement that the man was arrested Thursday on a major road in the east of the city. It says the man was going to use the truck bomb in a suicide attack.

The agency does not say what the suspected target was. It says it will release more details as they became available.

The arrest comes a day after a suicide attack on the same road killed seven people. In that attack one militant detonated his car bomb outside a compound where foreigners live, while two other attackers fought their way inside before being killed.

2:Molvi Nusrat panjsheri
3:truck owner haji malik toor
Ehsaan ullah buryal was on pay roll of NDS for time,and a close friend of Ruhullah shahibzada member of NDS advisory board,
Nusrat panjsheri is relative of General Bismillah and Haji Toor is contractor of ISAF.
this was the reality of whole NDS operation.

Seems to be a pattern in the region.. Just like after a series of Blasts in Peshawar and other KP areas, there is normally a news of Pakistani FC repelling an attack by militants from Afghanistan and killing 10-20 of them.. That's fake too ???

Hmmmm.. Do you seriously believe in this story being authentic? Next time NDS needs to weave fairytales in a bit more believable fashion. Press department @ NDS is sounding more and more like mini tales of Hans Christian Andersen.

A more believable scenario could have been: (I have to be truthful here, my story telling abilities are not great, maybe NDS can do a better job!)

On one beautiful Afghan afternoon, blooming poppy flowers in the background, enveloping everything in the vicinity with their vivacious glow, there was a big billow of smoke in the middle of nowhere, all of a sudden, a person wearing a hoodie with large printed characters "I S I" on it appeared (all in Pakistan green). The said person had a huge beard and a mean demeanor. Then, all of sudden he reached under his "shalwar" to take out an AK47. As soon as he was about to load it with some "green" shi*, our NDS agents overpowered him and confiscated a Pakistani machine readable passport from his person, along with 500kg of RDX. He also had a target list super-imposed on Google maps, with BIG X on all the important installations of Kabul. After interrogation we found out that this lone ranger was about to embark on a Jiahdi mission to kill all the infidels and disturb the peace of the so serene Kabul.

‘Pakistan-linked’ attack on Kabul foiled: officials

KABUL: Afghan and Nato forces foiled a series of suicide attacks on Kabul planned for Sunday when they captured five insurgents allegedly linked to militants in Pakistan, officials said.

The group was “finalising plans for an attack in the capital” and a large cache of explosives, suicide vest parts, weapons and ammunition were seized in the overnight operation, Nato’s International Security Assistance Force said.

The “sophisticated suicide attacks” would have targeted the Afghan parliament and the residence of Second Vice President Mohammad Karim Khalili, Afghanistan’s intelligence agency said.

One of the five was a Pakistani national and the group was in possession of Afghan army uniforms and Pakistani identity documents, currency and cellphone numbers, the National Directorate for Security said.

“The evidence indicates they had connections with the terrorists beyond the border with Pakistan,” the agency said.

Afghanistan accuses Pakistan of harbouring Taliban insurgents fighting to overthrow the Western-backed government of President Hamid Karzai.
