Every state has its own symbols and emblems. I think every state can have its own flag under constitution, but always below the National flag in height and preferences. But the lunatics in every state will use the flag thing to further their agendas. Currently unwanted and unneeded.

Tamil nadu state emblem for example.

No idea what the congress is upto nowadays, especially Sidaramaiah.
