It used to have a facade of neutrality when BJP and Congress were both powerful, because each party knew that the other could come to power and use it for vendetta, so both parties kind of let it do its own thing. Now that Congress is wiped out and not a challenger, the court is totally one sided, no one takes it seriously.

Last few months, several opposition politicians have been raided for corruption, not a single BJP one. Even among opposition ones, they are going for small time fish, not big time people like Sharad Pawar, Reddys, Rajas etc, since they know that these politicians can spill the beans on BJP . Obviously if you ask Bhakts that is proof that opposition is corrupt and no corruption in BJP , although BJP runs one of the most corrupt governments probably in the world in Karnataka. Bangalore, the so called next silicon valley has roads that get potholes after a few mm of rain, the city is currently flooded after a few days of light rain, and people are walkingand living in their own pi$$ and $shit. Yes but you have to prove it in front of ECI, then Lower court, then district court, then High court, then supreme court, then a review petition which will take a decade or so.

This is not a criminal proceeding which means no resolution. Modi got clean chit from Supreme court after 20 years of fight. Anyone who wants to take on Modi will have to do Tapasya for 20 years like Modi did.

What didn't work for other countries doesn't guarantee that it won't work for India. Congress had a monopoly in India for 50 years, not BJP, next another party.

That's an India wide problem, roads and infra are not much better elsewhere either.. Mumbai comes to a grinding halt every few years, in Delhi Gurgaon (or Gurugram, we should say lmao) .. has this one main (golf course) road dotted with luxury apartments, some of them going for upward of 20 - 30+ cr.. should have seen that place a few years ago with all underpasses flooded and roads caving in in the rains.

That said, infra is improving, spl on highways linked to trade and cargo routes. Pune Mumbai is a classic example, but there are many others, even some of the feeder roads into and out of Delhi are a rider's delight these days.

None will be able to challenge the BJP for a few decades as they enter what was once the Congress' domain of unparalleled decades long political dominance. Hope they do a better job..

Congress is doing bad because it is unable to go with the changed scenario of politics , people have grown more educated , more aware of their rights , congress failed to cater for rights of backward section of society . Leadership remained in Gandhi family and dominance of Brahmins led to the downfall of congress .

Leadership remained in Gandhi family and dominance of Brahmins led to the downfall of congress .

What rights do the "backward sections of society" not have ? What were these backward sections expecting ?

India needs to be a merit based society/culture.. why give someone a job just because they're a chamar or whatever ?
