Comparison| Pakistani,Iranian,Afghan,Indian,Bangali food.

Indeed, here in UAE most indians even admit that

I have had pak cuisine,is good and medium spicy, especially punjabi food.

but nothing like what i had in jalandhar.

You veggie eaters can not perfectly make muslim Mughali cuisines, you may copy the recipes, but no way you can make it as perfect as they do in muslim homes and restaurants, especially Pakistani restaurants

I have had mughalai food, just bad for the stomach and induces laziness and later high cholestrol/BP and diabetes.

Indians put coconut milk in all of their dishes thinking it will taste better. Only in a few dishes, it works. But when you come to meat dishes, putting coconut milk in, amounts to ruining the meat and dish.

Thats only in the west coast of india and it works brilliantly with fish but fish alone.

Do Pakistanis eat plain rice as main food or roti? We Bengalis can't live for a single day without Bhath (plain boiled rice)

So you eat roti with sabzi / meat for breakfast , lunch and dinner ?

We eat roti with sabzi. Aloo sabzi or ful gobi sabzi (ful kopi in Bengali) is more common or roti with omelet or egg pose in our breakfast

I hate pulao but sometime I eat it. Especially on friday or any rainy day my mom makes Khichuri pulao and chatni (green chili and coriander paste) . I just love it but I hate normal Pulao or biryani. I even stopped going for wedding parties due to fear of eating biryani. If I go for any family party I just take plain boiled rice with meat curry. I don't eat pulao but if its Khichuri Pulao with mashoor daal then WOW. I love Khichuri.

duck roast tastes good man! in kerala, we try kada(quail) and even big cranes for food not alone cow and buffalo :D

I love duck roast. Its more tasty than broiler chicken roast. I don't like to eat broiler chicken curry. I don't like the taste of broiler chicken that much. Deshi chicken rocks when it comes to Chicken roast / curry but if its fried chicken then there is no comparison with broiler chicken meat. Deshi chicken meat is delicious for roast / curry and broiler for fried chicken.

In UK 85% of Indian restaurants are run by Bangladeshis however they never advertise themselves as Bangladeshis since most people here associate curry with Indians.

My friends told me British curries have no taste.

They are disgusting but White people go crazy over them. In school the canteen served curry and almost everyone lined up for it. My mums curry makes the others taste like crap:yahoo:.

I think 90% Indian restaurants in UK are run by Bangladeshis. There is hardly any difference in Indian cuisine and Bangladeshi cuisine. In fact there is nothing called Bangladeshi cuisine as such. Its called Bengali cuisine. So the Bangladeshi owners of restaurants advertise themselves as Indian restaurants to attract the customers even if there are some Bangladeshi items available like Ilish recipes and Pitha.

Of course I would never eat halal meat. What sane person can eat an animal tortured to death in the name of a god? Therefore all muslim cuisines are off limits.

Pakistan is a heavy meat eating country, I guess we have been affected by our neighbors like afghanistan, Iran, central asia etc... of course there are some indian veggie dishes we have adopted, but they are still rare. Though in rural areas (daal) is still very popular
