We used to regard anybody who were not Han to be 蛮夷, "barbarians". You would honestly say the average Chinese respect African culture alot? How about all those slurs we refer to foreigners by?That is not a racist.
Yes, Chinese people proud of their culture.
But, the Chinese people discrimination to other countries culture?
No! We also respect the cultural traditions of other nations!
So that is not a racist!
Everybody discriminates in some way. If somebody claims he's completely racial or cultural bias-free, he's either a hippie lying to himself or up to something. We are not saints and should not pretend to be.
Racism and ethnocentrism are both opinions. As long as it does not get codified in law, express them all you want. I'm all about freedom of speech. I myself lost track of how many times I've been called a "Chink". But hey, while it might stink, it's their opinion.
