Yes.. I am a bunt.. Our sex ratio favors women.. Problem felt mainly because in our community boys usually get married after thirty and age difference between couple is around ten to twelve years..As family planning awareness started to pickup in 1980s it resulted in peculiar situation where boys born in 1980s have insufficient girls from 1990s..

In ours case ,our community is also shrinking ,both girls and boys .But we dont have that much age gap in most case .

Yes same here.. nowadays it's either single child or two max.. I read somewhere Nairs of Kerala and Bunts of coastal karnataka are from same family ( soorya vamshi kshatriya or something)

Yes .We are the same family .Also faces similar problems .Various reasons are their for this shrinking .Human development is one factor ,other is the orthodox approach.Once a boy or girl marries outside from the caste ,his/her descendants cant represents our community .This is also another issue .
But in Kerala all Hindus sects has also follow single or two child policy.

One of the most good looking guy on the forum hardly talks about his looks. Only the insecure ppl talk about it and post their pictures. My personal observation.

well obviously that does not apply to me, I seldom talk about my looks or post my pic even though I am not good looking..
in any case the observation is about south indian girls, does not matter if observer is good looking or not, what matters is the sense of beauty of the observer... I separate myself from the subject of observation

You can't pull blanket statements is what I meant. Till not so long ago half your heroines in Bollywood were South Indians....I am not talking about the kind of "South Indian movies" you watch.
I'm not somebody who likes talking about looks but your 1st post on this thread was off-topic, and was not called for. There's a dearth of women in Haryana. A desperate man would marry anyone who is ready to marry him, looks are secondary.
