Coca Cola: We will invest $5 billion in India by 2020

Coca Cola and Pepsi are making far greater investments in non-soda beverages in India. Notably in fruit juices and tea and coffee based beverages. They see better returns in these areas.

The killer is not gas but sugar. Most of these drinks still contains LOTS of sugar.

Many trans-nationals had to change their business models in India. McDonalds is the biggest example of that. "No-Beef" Burgers and more vegetarian items on their menus than meat-based ones. Finally "Only Veg" McDonalds outlets in some parts of India.
LOL, Ronald McDonald had to re-invent himself!

I would recommend you look at the nutrition content of a veggie burger v/s a Big mac.

The veggie burger has more calories, more carbs and almost as much fat as a Big Mac.
Oh, and you get far fewer proteins.

But still nothing beats a cool glass of fresh Sugarcane Juice!:fans:
