I'm posting here after quite some time, but this is my opinion of the entire matter:

• COAS General Bajwa is running to the USA because of what has happened in Balochistan. The recent attack on FC by TTP using American weapons is an operation that has been commenced by the USA. It took special forces 90 hours to conclude that battle, so you can imagine the ferocity of that attack. The army is just downplaying the entire scenario. The Americans wanted to give the message that while they may not be there physically anymore, they are still there.
  
  
• The message has been delivered that either you are with the Americans or Pakistan is against, if against, that bill in congress, the one that puts sanctions on Pakistan, will pass, we will be blacklisted in FATF and all trade will be incredibly impacted. This puts Imran Khan & our COAS in a severe bind. They don't care how many factories or industries we setup with China in Pakistan, what is the point when there is no buyer?

What a warped opinion you have posted here. General Bajwa is not running anywhere, he has had frequent strategic discussions with the US and this is just another one. If you had bothered to look at the report on the PA anti-terrorshit engagement you would have known there were shops and civilian residences behind where the terrorshits were holed up and Pakistan army did not want collateral damage. There was no need for haste as the Indian sponsored terrorshits were surrounded and conclusion was the inevitable demise of the Indian agents. The US doesn't need to deliver any message and hasn't done so, as they know Pakistan is a free sovereign nation who decide their own destiny and policies. In the political world there are no definite sides but just a current position. Pakistan is not in any bind but is a key player in the Subcontinent, Middle East and Central Asia. What policies Pakistan decides and follows on will have significant impact in those regions.

US-Pakistan trade is mutually beneficial to both countries. US companies export a lot of goods to Pakistan and vice-versa. Pakistan is on a trade mission and economic revival and not on a war mission and has no interest in war, that's why we didn't escalate when we were attacked by India. If Russia invades Ukraine US will either fight Russia or lose face and China will be encouraged to attack Taiwan. If Both Russia and China are successful that would make NATO meaningless and NATO member countries will review membership.

US has suffered huge economic loss in the Afghan war and it's partners have surfed on the back of the US insulating themselves from the impacts the US has suffered.

I always said that never get into flags. Person's intention is visible from the words. It doesn't matter whether Pakistani flag or not. On such words; may be he was quoting as per the member's approach and not in way of denouncing - but used it while sitting outside Pakistan.
