General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) visited Headquarter Frontier Corps KP (North). COAS laid floral wreath on Shahuada monument.
COAS also visited Frontier corps Museum and Fort Gallery which has been opened for public.
While talking to the officers & men of Frontier Corps, COAS lauded their contributions to bring stability in the province including erstwhile FATA. COAS paid rich tribute to the shuhadas and their families who made great sacrifices for the sake of motherland. COAS said that it’s because of efforts of the security forces that now socio economic development phase is in motion to carry forward gains of kinetic operations towards enduring peace and stability.
Commander Peshawar Corps accompanied COAS during the visit.
