What's new

COAS, General Qamar Javed Bajwa, endorsed punishment to 2 Army and 1 civilian office for treason.

Pak army picked him? :p:
who knows. but he was sent back 5 months ago alongside his family.

you guys dont worry about why or how Gen Iqbal got back just look at the timing of this news and most importantly the charge on him...

Its a Superb chess move by Pak army, hand out death sentence for espionage to its own officers and then go after the PTM leadership for being foreign funded agents destablising the country.

You tell me then how did Gen Javed Iqbal Pak armies most wanted man since 2012 landed from US to Noor Khan Mil Base in the middle of the night ?

IF he has one. Your Claim is BS

I did not make any claims. IF he was picked up at night, he did not have a valid green card.

Let's be honest with ourselves. I think we need to have an open discussion on this one. Try buying out an American General on an issue of existential threat to America. Even if you offer him a billion dollars, he knows he has nowhere to spend that money. He can't live lavishly in most of the Western world: US, Canada, Europe, Australia, New Zealand are all out of the question. Furthermore, a billion dollars doesn't buy much these days. A lavish (and I mean grandiose) property can go up to $200 million if you include the tennis courts, swimming pools, heli pad, in house theatre, stables for horses etc. Then a super yacth can be upwards of $200 million. That's almost half your money gone, and you still haven't bought a helicopter and plane. And we all know that a boat is basically a money pit so the rest of your money is going to drain very easily. In short, a country like Pakistan doesn't have much incentives to provide. I need not elaborate the charms these generals find in foreign lands.

What can Pakistan offer? Meritocracy, and the opportunity to apply creativity and intellect in an environment comprising peers of similar intellectual level. Creativity is a drug and believe you me there aren't many places in the world where it is available. You go and work in the West, and you will find egotistical bosses bearing down on everyone to try and save their positions. It's mind numbing rigmarole. Thankfully, national interests such as our strategic forces, hi-tech weapons, or even top-notch economy, they all require sublime intellect. Nurture a culture of education, learning, and creativity, and give people the freedom to innovate. Include them in the resulting windfalls. But for this, we need to address education from the grounds up. And need to break up the existing familial oligarchy in the army.

Finally, in all of the above, it goes without saying that Islam is the one and only thing that guarantees our survival and protection of our national interests.
Bruh... americans cant be bought because they are audited well from joining till retirement, there s no such thing here for upper rank of **** stooges

Yes, excellent move. Now let's see how the Army goes after PTM, helped by such great timing.

They weren't convicted of treason but of espionage.

Yes they were, and 2 of them have gotten death, 1 rigorous imprisonment.

Thats what you get for selling your soul to the devil.
