After seeing the incompetency of foreign office and its love to save its king by siding with rivals, one has to lead with aggressive come active approach based upon rapid change in the region due to involvement of many parties. Remember speech of CoAS w.r.t. India's involvement in Afghanistan and how can US act to change the situation. A lot of factors involved and the visit will be of great significance once done.
I would like to expect a gifted baggage on return soon like what we lastly had namely Mehsud and before that, the names and identifications of NDS/TTP operatives handed over to NATO, involved in disruptive activities on behest of our rival.
This visit alone will prove failed the propaganda of few to create rift among Pakistani and Afghan people. In my opinion, hatred against Pakistan is only fueled by India through Kabul Limited Regime in-cooperation with war/drug lords only that soon will be down the drain.
The common Pashtun Afghan has no reason for hating Pakistan, or Pakistanis. Islam is their way of life, and love for fellow Muslims is in their blood.
Unfortunately, there is a certain creed of immoral Afghans with Northern Alliance backgrounds, who harbor unending animosity towards Pakistan. They have been systematically brought to power with American backing, and are now being nurtured with Indian funds. Sitting back and looking at it from a high level, I see a larger game. If Pakistan had submitted to American Will as a slave submits to his lord, America would have been benign. This involves giving up nuclear program, stop caring about the plight of Kashmiri Muslims, and stop being the regional bulwark against Indian hegemony. The general trend during Musharraf years was of moving in this direction.
Alhmadulillah, today we are very far from the lows of Musharraf and then Zardari days. This obviously irks America. Now, American stooges in the region, India and Afghan government, have been given full freedom to perform malicious activities against us.
As far as brotherly relations with Afghan government are concerned, we need to follow the money. Who is giving them money and sustenance. What are their plans to make themselves continuously relevant? It all comes back to American support. As long as America needs them for something in this region, they will stay relevant. As soon as they are not needed any more, America will leave them behind. Today, American need is to make Pakistan submit. Towards this end, it would be mightily foolish on our part to view the Afghan government as anything other than enemies.
Its not just this visit. Allah Willing, this visit will pass without incidence. But the threat cannot be written off, and MUST NOT be written off. The threat is very clear. All you need to do, is follow the money.
