Winter, F-35 Programı Ofisi'nde gazetecilere yaptığı açıklamada, Türkiye'nin F-35 Beşinci Nesil Müşterek Taarruz Uçağı Programı'na katılımına ilişkin herhangi bir değişiklik olmadığını belirterek, "İki uçağın daha Mart 2019'da teslim edilmesini bekliyoruz. 100 uçağın teslimatında bir değişiklik olduğuna dair herhangi bir işaret yok." ifadelerini kullandı.

Rapor 90 gün içinde teslim edilecek
ABD Savunma Bakanlığı (Pentagon) bütçesinde, Pentagon'un 90 gün içinde Türkiye ile ilgili Kongre'ye rapor sunma şartını hatırlatan Winter, "Rapor için teknik ve programa ilişkin bilgileri sağladık ve rapor 90 gün içinde teslim edilmiş olacak." dedi.
Türkiye, haziran ayında iki F-35 savaş uçağını teslim almıştı. 2002'den beri programın katılımcı ülkeleri arasında yer alan Türkiye, 100 F-35 savaş uçağı almayı taahhüt ediyor.

Since Turkey already made up his mind to get S400. So, may be the reason US is not comfortable to give top notch product. Because Turkey will test F35 against S400 and may be that report will eventually ends up in Russian hand. Imagine if S400 detect F35 , then what will be impact on potential sale of this product or even test report leaked or shared with Russians.

At this point, Turkey is like: Frankly Dear, I don't give a damn!!! Anyway, blocking F35s will take the bad feelings to a level the USA can hardly afford!!!! And, Turkey needs to give a thorough check, like the F16s, and if required some modifications before deploying at the field....

Turkey will make the modifications to ensure that S400 don't see it....

Elhamdulillah, Turkey has reached the stage to play with the physics and chemistry of GaN devices like the pros at the Bell Labs!!! It means playing with hosts of device parameters by tweaking the device fabrication to channel power, frequency, noise etc. characteristics to the specific needs of the EW algorithms!!! Iran can detect F22. I think its extremely likely that the S-400 can and will detect F35.

The first planes are supposed to be delivered at the first half of 2019 so far there's no delay or anything.

"downgraded planes" Yeah, don't think that's not how it works. It's already being tested by Turkish pilots in the US and engineer team in Turkey is more than capable to detect such things.

Almost every Modern Radar can detect F-22 at some point... F-22 isn't an invisible plane...
I think many misunderstood the basic definition of "Stealth"...
The job of the Stealth guy is to get "nearer to it's target" than the average joe...

Turkey is inside of F-35 program since 2000's and We are not costumer but a partner of this program. Turkey has been funding this program since the beginning.
