CM Yogi: India Is on Its Way to Becoming Another Country of Religious Conflict?

.
Wow..

Asking people to follow constitution and respect Majority sentiments is "wrong"!!!
Wonder how this narrative would play in any other country in the world, especially the muslim majority countries.

. .
Blunt but true narrative, I fully agree with everything mentioned in this article.
Religion and state politics should always be separate.
I can never support a Hindurashtra in India, secularism is the foundation of India and if it's removed then the country will topple.
This country is for Hindus, Muslims, Sikhs, Buddhists, Christians and everyone in between.

BJP trying to emulate Muslim League of 1947, While we Pakistanis are now done and moving away from religion base politics (In fact in Past 70 years, no religious party ever rule whole of Pakistan), It seem India got stuck in Past literally.

The Death of Iconic stature of Gandhi's in Indian politics, is turning out the death of Indian secularism which indeed is the real backbone of Indian Union.

If India(ns) is really a mature democracy and a thunderous secularist....this is the time to rise and prove what you really are...the next few years are very important for India's future and its secularism.

We are a mature democracy. Not the banana variety.

Don't be a usual talkative (Jumlabaz) Indian without substance.
The Time has arrives to proves your mettle. Let's see how mature Indian democracy is, will see you in 2019.

Politics is about law and order and religion is a way of leading a life. Hinduism does not have a law structure like Sharia or something. Hinduism adopt with the time. For example, Sati was never there in the hinduism, It was added as part of the practices and later on becoming norm. This was challenged by the intellectuals of those times and it was removed. The concept of having multiple wives was very predominant in the hindu families earlier ( talking about ages ago) but it was abolished and it is now a law not to have multiple wives.
So, the difference between the Hinduism and Islamic form of extremism which you say Taliban are the enforcing their own version of law, which is not there in the former.
India has very stable and mature democracy and we know how to get out of troubling government. The same way we like to experiment new ways and ideas of governance. Remember, Kejriwal of AAP got the unprecedented majority in Delhi elections in just 1 year of party formation but could not get even a single seat in the same period for central government election. This indicates people know whom and what they are voting for. They knew and wanted Kejriwal as an experiment good enough at state level where people can afford some testing on new ideas but also people were aware that these kind of experiments are not good at national level hence Modi was chosen as the PM.

So, lets not underestimate the knowledge and wisdom of masses.

Now, coming to religion, the anger is more towards the systematic appeasement policies followed by previous governments and ignoring the rest. People opted for BJP for central and UP state because majorities general masses were fed up of appeasement policies and the games played by these political parties to gain votes only.
Hence they are trying BJP as currently it is the best option what we have. the day we have another national level party, we will consider them too.

yes, you went from burning women alive (sati) to saving cows by killing all humans who consume it & electing leaders that call for Muslim women be raped in their graves

nice upgrade in your humanity!

This so Hindu terrorism is only limited to protecting Hindu rights, and its here to say. People dreaming of voting out in the next elections can continue dreaming

What rights are you protecting by taking food out of the mouths of millions of poor Indians? Living and struggling IN India.

Do you hear yourself buddy, sitting in Australia, a land of plenty?

And just out of curiosity, do you or Nilgiri have a vote?

Kudos.

What's illegal is illegal, people need to find other means of putting food in their mouths, like they used to before. These large scale slaughter houses are a very recent thing and have only cropped up in the past decade or so, and they need to be licensed and regulated. Don't forget India is the world's largest exporter of Beef(Carabeef-Bufallo Meat), and generates a lot of revenue for the government. If it is not regulated and monitored, India can end up blacklisted and many more people will be out of jobs that way!

Besides drug dealing also puts food in people's mouth, so does smuggling, so should we just let these "businesses" grow as well? I understand the need for people to feed their families and eke a livelihood, but it has to be lawful.

I don't know about @Nilgiri but I still have my voting rights. Although, I will surrender my Indian passport the day someone as dumb and incompetent as a Rahul Gandhi or god forbid Mamta Banerjee were to become the PM of India.

Agree..But sentiments is subjective thing...Convert sentiments into the law and then everyone will have to follow..or leave if they disagree.

Same here...Although I will leave my Wife & kid on Indian passport for the future.
People often forget the real reason we leave India to work outside. It is not for the love of countries like US or Aus or Europe.
It's primarily because of the opportunities and money.
And they also forget the most important part, significant amount of money earn here is invested back in India.

Couldn't put it better.
There are scores of Hindus working across Middle east. Some of these countries don't even allow pics of Hindu gods inside the country. You never see any Hindu creating a ruckus there.
OR
you won't ever see any Hindu raising heckles in any western country about cow meat.
It's all abt respecting local laws and culture...That's what "respect" really means.

I dont understand why you want to eat only one particular animal but not others present. Is someone stopping you to eat Chicken, dog, pig or something else? Why just that one animal?
Also, how come it is taking food out of mouth of millions of poor Indians? I would love to see your source of information on this point showcasing, millons of poor Indians are eating beef and only beef. They have no other form of protein to eat. They are dying because they are not getting beef.
