That is incorrect. Large diameter reinforced concrete sewers use a lot of rebar, just like other projects.

There are provisions for drains in all major projects, but over time, these are all choked with garbage and plastic bags thrown about by the people themselves who then suffer when the rains come.

The main culprit is plastic garbage that blocks flow. And the people who throw them. IBD is much cleaner than LHE.



Lahore and Karachi need a major underground sewer update, but that would be a huge undertaking.
