QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Mir Kamal Khan Alyani has said that the provincial police would be equipped with latest weaponry and technology for eradication of terrorism and crime.

Presiding over a meeting on Saturday, he acknowledged that peace had been restored in the province because of the sacrifices and better performance of police and security forces.

The new government, he said, will introduce reforms and upgrade the police force for bringing about improvement in their performance.

Inspector General Police Mohsin Butt and senior officials briefed the chief minister about the police performance, law and order situation, action against terrorists and constraints the police force was facing.

I really like the new CM of Balochistan and have great expectations from him. He seems to be a very capable person motivated to bring sustainable change in Balochistan.

Compared with other stooges that had remained at the helm of affairs in that province, Jam Kamal is indeed more credible and a welcome change.

Although Baluchistan's population is very small but the territory 51% of Pakistan which is huge and difficult - Province is key to prosperity of Pakistan. So, We should increase the police force to 500K to ensure the peace and security in province. It will give employment to local population. We shouldn't worry about cost of this police force as it will be nothing in front of resultant economic growth, prosperity of Province and it's overall effect on Pakistan.

Afghanis cannot be removed just like that....try to understand this....they have been here since 1979...they have basically blended into our society by forging relations with the local populace, carrying out business activities by investing in real estate and other businesses.woh kehte hain naa rahi sahi kasar NADRA ne puri kardi by issuing them with CNIC's and passports for money.I am going to be extremely unpopular here for saying this but the LEA's including the FC posted at the borders receive gate pass i.e money for letting them through into Pakistan.so the objective of putting things into prespective was to make people understand it is going to be extremely difficult in removing them and deporting them back to Afghanistan

I know i grew up with them many of my neighbours were Afghanis (the Kabul elite moved to Islamabad there are still many shops inside Islamabad owned by Afghanis some of those shops are in elite areas)
,carrying out business activities by investing in real estate and other businesses.
At the end of the day they are foreigners using resources better suited for nationals
woh kehte hain naa rahi sahi kasar NADRA ne puri kardi by issuing them with CNIC's and passports for money.
Shukriya zardari sahab but this could be corrected

Yes that happens that is why FC and Levies need to be reformed
so the objective of putting things into prespective was to make people understand it is going to be extremely difficult in removing them and deporting them back to Afghanistan
Deporting them is the easy part kpk deported hundred of thousands but they keep coming back we need a permanent solution
