Once more : global climate change is in fact a global problem. Sea level rise does not care whether you are in a third world country or not. Neither does increasing mean global temperature. More frequent wildfires and cold snaps . But for some reason peculiar to Americans, it’s non-obvious and utterly mysterious to them hahahaha

We need adaption in terms of seasonal migration or perhaps,, one story high houses with ground floor for cattles or storage..

Pakistan is better off with floods than droughts! Even the recent floods are better than the droughts like those in 2003. The lakes will be fuller, dams will be fuller, aquafers will be fuller. What needs to happen is that the reconstruction after this flood is made with different way--houses build in different way to handle future flooding. Future huge lakes would have to be dug up. Drastic measures to be taken. But overall, Pakistan does have an advantage that most of the population lives along a narrow band of land around rivers.
