Why OP used "Another event in Baby Bangladesh"?
Hehe never argue with a TT. He will insult you in formal manner with a handshake in the end, even without reading the OP.What is a "Proper outfit" for a football match? - A Burqa?
And sorry we are not Saudi Arabia or some other backward country to have only female spectators in the match.
Well, in that case, it should be done as per the West Bengal Government's policy, whether they want the athletes to play in shorts, or whatever. It was sarcasm on part of OP to mock how far West Bengal government is bending to please Muslims. It's news of West Bengal, India.
There wont be any Media outrage because this is a "secular" decisionNo media outrage?? Lol
Well Football already has dress code prescribed by FIFA, state government has no right meddling into it.Well, in that case, it should be done as per the West Bengal Government's policy, whether they want the athletes to play in shorts, or whatever.

No, what I wrote was as follows:I asked a question what is a proper outfit for football? It is shorts only not any other outfit
I brought in KSA because you said only Women should be allowed to watch the match. This is similar to practices in KSA. I said such practices can happen in KSA not India.
FIFA allows female athletes to cover their legs and arms. Please see the following:Well Football already has dress code prescribed by FIFA, state government has no right meddling into it.
No, what I wrote was as follows:
"No, a simple answer is to allow the players to play in proper outfits, that is not baring their legs or else have only female spectators in the ground".
Lets break the sentence and read it:
...to allow the players to play in proper outfits, that is not baring their legs...
Well here is another article FIFA telling it to Iran.FIFA allows female athletes to cover their legs and arms. Please see the following:

That is suggested for Muslim women only. While they can take part in athletics, they need to do it according to the guidelines set by the religion, which prohibits the Muslim women from exposing their arms and legs in front of unrelated men. However, if certain women do not like to follow the guidelines, it is up to them. I don't think I would run after them having a baton in my hand.Do you ever play football?
I played football for 7 year and if can't be played properly without shorts :|
The prohibition is about the head covering i.e. scarf, which FIFA thinks can be dangerous during the game, and not on covering arms and legs.Well here is another article FIFA telling it to Iran.

If it is a secular country, they should be allowed to chose.Well In Islamic country it's ok(everyone is free to make their decision according to their faith) but as they India is secular country then don;t you think it's not fair :?
