Clashes erupt in Kashmir following fire at Sufi shrine

So a fire broke out in one of the separatist camps. Indian firefighters ( kashmiris btw ) responded by sending firefighters. The idiots threw stones at the firefighters, which hampered their movement.

And now "India" is blamed for not responding quickly.

See how logical that sounds ?

Perfectly logical for some Pakistani here by the looks of it.

If Kashmir was under Pakistani rule, the wooden structure would have automatically turned fire retardant!

Alright chini.. be careful in commenting about the topic about which you know jack$****... first China should free Tibet, Hong kong- leave their claim on Taiwan- then we can talk about other people..ok? take a hike now...

It appears that Indian oppression of Kashmir is way worse than before. These poor souls have been suffering this for what - 7 decades now? Why hasn't a referendum been conducted in Kashmir yet regarding their status? How does India justify her occupation of this state? Prefer to hear from sources other than Indian ones.

One would hope the moderators would correct the title of the thread which has been mistitled delibrately with the malicious intention to provoke jihadis to attack Indians .

There is no reason to believe as of now that any Indian was involved in this and neither does the article say it .This is a figment of twisted imagination of the OP.

On topic , buildings catch fire in this country and the world all the time.

Just last week in Delhi an entire row of shanties was gutted in fire and in Bombay many floors of a government building were guttted in fire .

And look at these illiterates pelting stones on those who came to douse the fire . Roy is right .

Thousands of people later crowded nearby streets, chanting anti-India slogans and demanding Kashmir’s freedom from Indian rule.

Hmmm...No one shouted pro Pakistan slogans? :woot: WTF is going on? I think Pakistan should send a protest note to SAS Gilani of the Hurriyat for not making use of this God sent opportunity! :haha: Sheeesh!

Why are people getting so excited when the cause of the fire is not known? Clutching at straws, what?

They didn't even read the news, the only thing they read was fire and shrine and they jumped to conclusion. Plus check the title manipulation, even i the article it says that fire started after the morning prayers. Plus they were throwing rocks and attacking the firefighters while they were working to douse the flames.

Director General of Police K Rajendra said 69 persons including 30 policemen were injured in the clashes even as police has started investigation. The government also announced a parallel probe and has asked a team headed by the Divisional Commissioner to submit its report within seven days.

The fire fighters arrived late and they had no water. Because of their unpreparedness, the entire building was ablaze in a matter of minutes," said Riyaz Ahmad Bhat of Khanyar. The cause of the fire is being inquired into, said director general of fire and emergency GA Bhat. "But the protesting people damaged 22 department vehicles and burnt down one. They also damaged a sky lift which costs Rs 6 crore," he said. In all, 15 firemen were injured.

Soon after the news spread, people began pelting stones at passing vehicles in the city, forcing the authorities to restrict people's movement. The restrictions in turn triggered clashes between the youth and the police. Police and CRPF men used smoke shells and resorted to lathi charge to disperse the agitating mob.

No water ?

You jacka$s, take a good look at the pictures YOU posted.

very sorry to hear about this old Shrine....it's fortuitous that at least some relics were recovered by Kashmiri locals, despite what appears to have been a vicious blaze

Question was directed at other more credible sources, not Indians. If you don't have a good answer dothead, shut up and take a walk.

Then read the news before replying, DAWN is a Pakistani Newspaper and even in the article it doesn't say anything about Indian government or any other party's involvement. On the other hand it clearly says that the people attacked the fire fighters while they were working to put out the flames. Read the d@mn article before making a comment.

The Pakistanis deliberately spread falsehood on internet. The idea is that even if 1% believe and hate India they are successful. This is part of their propaganda war against India.

There is a treand.
