Clash between Armenia, Azerbaijan forces leaves seven Armenian soldiers dead

''Seven Armenian soldiers were killed in clashes between Azerbaijani and Armenian forces during the last one week, Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said in a statement on Saturday.

According to the ministry, Armenian forces allegedly violated the cease-fire 834 times with mortars and high-caliber weapons on the frontline along western Azerbaijan. In response to their attacks, Azeri forces targeted Armenian positions over 1,000 times, the statement added.

Many Armenian soldiers were also left wounded in the clashes, it noted.'' Anadolu Agency (AA)

Off topic, but the world has a false impression that Ataturk removed Islam from Turkey. Rather, the sort of respect and practice I saw of Islam in Turkey is unparalleled. They have taken the religion as it should be, a guidance from the creator for each individual and society Not as the political tissue paper the rest of the Muslim world uses it for.

I don't know what kind of Azeri's you have met, but I find it very hard to believe that they would side with arabs against Turkey. That is 1 of the most ridiculous things I have read on this forum.

Azeri's are one of the least religious people in the world according to several researchers of which I can not find a source right now. They have no significant cultural or ethnical ties to arabs, have a sizable Jewish Azeri community who have no problems with anti-semitism. So how do you see azeris fighting against Turkey exactly?

And judging by your last sentences I'm guessing you are some kind of islamist.

i think attaturk secular policies, didn't leave room for religious parties to pollute country politics/policies/education with "made up" and politicized teaching of Islam. Turk being good muslim are result of on their own effort. Point is you can't make people secular or religious by force. Just political absence of religious parties, didn't distort islam.

Plus state control's mosque in turkey. pakistan mosque's are funds oriented and subjected to people opinion orientation/mood.

any turk member can verify that on attaturk grave that its written "Fatihah is not allowed" i heard that but couldn't find on internet. @madmusti

Islamists are people who want a country ruled by islamic law, disregarding anyone who does not share their believe or values.

You as a Pakistani should know better. Pakistan used to be a tourist destination, now thanks to those madressas it is not so much a tourist destination anymore unfortunately.

I know what maddrassa did.. i have edited my post.. Anyway i want islamic government too..especially in Economics field where there is no income/sales/purchase/custom taxes. I want stock/reserved to be taxed. by islamic govt means not ISIS madness but malasiya model. tehy also control mosques, tehre never been sectarian clashes. pLus theye are very practicing msulims and they havn't fought any war since long time (peaceful nations with flexible foreign policies)

To what extent the Bold is true I am not sure, but this state control has resulted in practising Muslims who are some of the best people to be on the streets with. They are busy in their lives, they dont care if a Turk woman is out alone in whatever dress she wishes nor do the atheist turks care otherwise.
One opinion came as the most important to me from a girl... who said "Turks are all Muslim, good or bad, they are all Muslim".

That is the single most uniting mentality that has worked for the country, and was the same reason it worked for Islam at its inception. The only time I saw a Turk interfere was in a small mosque was when I stepped directly out of my shoes onto the floor before going into the mosque... that was seriously offensive and they all rushed to put the plastic cover on my feet as they pointed and said "Sujood". Which referred to the idea that you should not let ANY dirt come to the place where you bow your head to god.. which is his house.
Compare that to any mosque in Pakistan which is one of the most filthiest place even when compared to a shopping mall.
I will take Ataturks cleansing of this usage of Islam anyday over the crap one sees in Pakistan.
