Off course they issued fatwa against co education not education of women. Women and Men should not study in co education but they should have separate institutes which should offer degrees up to PHD in all fieldsEducation is compulsory than means of education are as much important as education itself, the CII cannot simply say that coeducation should not be allowed unless they come up with suggestions and recommendations for educating females separately, merely saying it does not absolve them of their responsibility, but adds to the confusion and problems. And till that time when our women can have their own separate institutes all across Pakistan we need to educate women irrespective of the resources and means available. A helpless widow has to feed her children after demise of her husband and I won't prefer an unskilled uneducated woman being forced to prostitution for sake of survival of her children. Open up and try to look at it and its implications in a society like our's. What in fact we need to teach is self-control and to show respect to the opposite gender, as male hajji are required to while performing Tuwaf.
This point of view is shared by all scholars and most of them are well educated and they have points to back from Quran and Sunnah and which clearly is against co educationNo one takes them seriously, they continue to give recommendations, they should be replaced by educated scholars or it should be disbanded !!!
Well I agree and for that government should build separate institutes for both boys and girls and provide best education and facilities in themI am not going to answer or criticize your comment as you completely misunderstood me there my friend, as i said i am more conservative than most here or may be you as well so what you think I said, is what you made yourself believe into that i will be saying , which means my comment says not what you think it says.
Those who oppose the gender based segregation of students, don't be an ostrich so please take your head out of the sand now, the problems we have all seen in co-education we can't deny but are there. which can only be dealt with by implementing segregation, but not like how CII wants, they don't even want to do that, they just want to justify their existence and that's all. if they wanted to implement it, there would have been a full plan of doing so suggested by them.
