CIA Admits It Was Behind Iran's Coup

Whatever the CIA did or tried to do, it was Iranians, no one else, who actually disposed Mossadegh. Only a handful of American or British agents were present in the country. Only the Iranians, military and otherwise, had the actual power to carry out the coup against Mossadegh. For Iranians to lay this action at the feet of the CIA is to acknowledge the total depravity of their own countryman. The USA did not dispose Mossadegh. Only Iranians on the ground had the capability to do that. Grow up. Iranians are responsible for their own history. To blame the USA is to make the Iranian State a baby.

Your government bribed them, assassinated opposition and created false propaganda...

Its a lot more than just guilty by association. Iranians were pawns, you guys were the players.

you are missing the main point, U.S government interference in the M.E, caused a lot of chaos, if the U.S, stopped creating wars in order to place puppets and such, the M.E, would be the safest place on earth... however, western government do not care about innocent lives, they are willing to destroy nations just to please their banks and military industry... the west's interference in the problem here...

not just destroy other countries, the government is even wiling to kill Americans in order to invade countries, an example was Operation Northwoods, which Kennedy was smart enough to not approve of killing Americans, however G.W.Bush was really dumb... enough said...

@iranigirl2

That 'Pakistani group' was Jindullah - which we have busted over the past few years with active anti terrorism cooperation from Iran. Our soil cannot be used against Iran.

Pakistan arrests Jundallah's head.

I hope Iran and Pakistan can cooperate more on arresting these terrorists.

CIA is again working in the Baluchistan region to destabilize it.

This is what i like about US and UK, their freedom to information laws. Even if it be after many years it eventually releases secret documents during the life time of a person of events that happened during his life time for the public to know.

Just wondering if in Pakistan we have a similar law and is implemented and we release 50 or 60 year old secret documents. It would be a good Pandora's box to peep into and know what is happening behind the scenes in Pakistan. A true and clear picture of things.

what is the fun when its too late to react. And by the way if someone says history will record it; let it be clear that history is always written by victors.

Those "Iranians" who did the job on the ground were a bunch of thugs, paid by US (read this). Without American and British intervention the coup wouldn't happen, hence they are responsible, period.

freedom my a$$, they only publish those documents that subject has already leaked, and it's not a big deal.
it's just a pressure valve to make people believe their propaganda.
whenever they admitted killing of 11 million Iranian in the world war, when they admitted their collusion with Zionist to create a fake holocaust story then I believe what you said.

@Al Bhatti

It's called controlled opposition. They control both opposing sides. Whatever that's "leaked" is either not important, or it's misinformation.

No need to jump and tell me what is propaganda and what is not. Anyways, I was talking about a similar law in Pakistan not Iran.

Let's assume I employ a few thousand poor Americans, give them good money, brainwash them and use them as mercenaries and topple the POTUS and the government, then it's most stupid to say that 'Americans toppled their government themselves', because someone else masterminded it.

The problem with this argument is that the Iranians who were involved were neither poor nor brainwashed. They were high ranking military, political, and high society members whose selfish interests created goals that coincided with US. Did not the Shah's family grabbed power thirty years earlier? Was it not (retired) General Fazlollah Zahedi who served as Senator and Minister of the Interior under Mossadegh then turned against the same because of his own fear of communist involvement in Iranian politics?

Weak countries will always falter, can't blame the CIA for carrying out their interests.

Here is something I read that is interesting:

Nuclear program of Iran - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

So in fact America and the West were active participants in the Iranian nuclear program.

Now they are the ones complaining about it the most?
Why not? I know the Chinese members here have a difficult time reading sources, even those they brought on, but I have to ask if you actually researched the Atoms For Peace program and what it intended to do? I hope the 'For Peace' words give you a clue. :lol:
