The "Islamic state" has taken over all of the livestock belonging to Shia and Christian farmers in Nineveh and started to gift it to the Sunnis in Nineveh. Nearly 1,000 cattle and thousands of lamb, chicken farms belonging to mostly farmers from the shabak and Turkmen Shia community as well as Christian and Yezedi were taken over by IS.
Nearly 150,000 shia, Christian and other minorities in Nineveh were forced to flee after the IS took over Nineveh. Many of them fleeing to Kurdistan before being relocated to the Shia majority central and southern Iraq

Christians are a very peaceful minority in Iraq which has existed centuries before Muslims came in. They also preserve the identity of the Assyrian civilization which existed thousands of years before Islam. The city of Ninavah which is occupied now by the ISIS was their capital, however the ISIS now has declared that the houses, money and belongings of Christians is theirs now and has threatened with three options: Leave, convert to Islam, or "die by the sword" ( Last picture shows the leaflets distributed). Their houses as you can see in those pictures are marked as ( estates of the IS ) and the letter (N) which is a derogatory bigoted term used by extremist muslims against Christians. It is also notable that Shia Muslims have been suffering similar and even harsher persecution in there.

Pakistan Supreme Court orders government to protect religious minorities

Pakistan's Supreme Court ruled two weeks ago that the government must take steps to protect the country's Christians, Hindus, Sikhs, and other religious minorities.

Chief Justice Tassaduq Hussain Jilani acknowledged the persecution that non-Muslims in Pakistan endure, and placed the blame squarely on the country's leaders.

The justices ruled that the government must create a National Council for Minority Rights, a special law enforcement division to protect non-Muslim houses of worship, and form a think tank to combat religious intolerance.

The government must also prosecute those who distribute intolerant propaganda, protect religious minority children who are persecuted at school, develop objective learning curricula, and enforce an affirmative action quota in the job sector.

The ruling came days after Christians in Lahore protested the seizure of church properties by the government. The UK Centre for Legal Aid, Assistance and Settlement (CLAAS) reported that more than ten properties – including hospitals, Christian schools, and a church – were seized.

CLAAS was cautiously optimistic after the Supreme Court decision.

"Keeping in view the government's treatment of minorities, it is difficult to say whether government will take interest immediately to implement the order," the interdenominational organization said in a statement.

"We can only hope that after such clear and cogent instructions from the Chief Justice, the government ofPakistantakes positive steps towards making minorities feel secure in their country."

The Supreme Court ruling was made in the aftermath of the September 2013 All Saints Church suicide bombing, which killed over 100 people. Although authorities knew of a possible Pakistani Taliban attack at the church days before the bombing, no additional police officers were sent to protect the congregants. The church's usual appointment of two guards was its only defense. The Court found that the government failed to protect its citizens.

This is because Goa was incorporated into the Indian Union in 1962, and Goans who were already in Karachi were technically Portuguese and due to the fact that they were in Pakistan they were not offered the option of claiming Indian citizenship.

India is still a way better country with full secular rights and laws for its citizens - more so in favor of minorities than the majority. The reason why minorities are growing by leaps and bounds in India (except the parsis - whole diff reason for their decline in population).

Now, that you have done your part, I have a question - arent these Hindus, Christians, Buddhists etc that are being hounded out violently from Pakistan indigeneous? more so than all the muslims who came into Pakistan - because I dont think any minority moved to Pakistan after its inception. Dont they deserve equal share, rights, laws and freedom more than any foreigner(mujahir etc) who has moved into their land?

This systematic cleansing is reviling and surprisingly there's hardly any protests or condemnation, while you are more keen on protesting against the Israeli's.
