Yes, Tejas should be employed for CAS and Interception roles only but our Foreign Mall loving Airforce will not accept it, thats why DRDO was forced to make it multi-Role due to our Airforce.

As for the Tejas- it belongs in the same category as the IAI Lavi sitting in a mueseum or as a semi-flying testbed.

Except that the Lavi was an excellent project killed off by the US defense industry through selfishness and the Tejas is a good design but a piss poor project killed off by sheer mismanagement of the progrem.
