Chitral police to probe video highlighting harassment of local women

New government? That's only possible if the usual suspects somehow die and leave this Earth and Pakistan, otherwise the same old faces are hardly a new government.

Rampant illiteracy will live another 40 to 50 years based on average life in Pakistan, we can start with the toddlers but the problem is they may not be able to witness the beautiful Pakistan by the time they are in their youth.

Pakistanis live to be 50 or 55 on average. As things stand it takes 25-28 years for the citizen to be ready for the world, that leaves on average 20 years which should be increased to 35 for the sake of productivity.

We need to focus on Pakistanis who are right now between 6-12 years to prepare them for the future. That should be the target of anyone who wishes to rule Pakistan.

The percentage of 6-12 years is lower than the rampant illiterate ones who may live to see other 30-40 years. These illiterate ones would destroy before the 6-12 years can take charge of everything.

So I suggest danda for youth (the rampant illiterate ones) to civilise them and proper education with character building for the ones falling between 1-12 years

There is a reason why I say we need War.

. .
That war would benefit the enemy as well. They by the way suffer more compared to us

Warfare is deeply misunderstood. Even the Book has references as to what actually makes on beneficial of war.

Sun Tzu places emphasis on numbers who is considered to be the most respected authority on warfare. I disagree with him, had that been the case we would never have had the Badr war.

Yep its not the numbers I agree with you. Its the steadfastness and unity plus leadership that may win you a war. Our book emphasizes on sabar and istikamat ...... but we take very different meanings of these two concepts. The angels that descend or the help that comes is basically that unity and steadfastness in face of hardship or when facing an enemy far more in numbers.

Soon we shall be ready and inshallah the generations afterwards will take Pakistan to its destiny as promised by Almighty.
Just like the Poet said ' Ham to sirf unwaan thay, asal dastaan tum ho '

I don't have any issues with a bright and beautiful destiny of Pakistan, I hope future Pakistanis would live in a far better Pakistan, but I don't believe Almighty has promised anything Pakistan specific. Any people who understand and use laws of natural, live prosperous in this world ...... and any people who understand, implement both laws of nature and divine laws given in the book ....... will surely benefit here and hereafter. For the time being, unfortunately we are not in anyone of these categories.

Lets agree to disagree on this.

But the key to success will always remain hardwork. We will soon have a populist leader at the helm and lets see what he comes up with.

No problems ......... though the disagreement list is getting longer but no issues, with due time comes the realisation. :)

I can agree with your leader argument, but being popular only won't help. We need an upholder of law and a just ruler.

Disagreements are a blessing in disguise so its all good.

This popular leader shall first taste power before any comments can be made on upholding the law and being just.

That is at top of our list of disagreements. There is no place for disagreement in matters of Deen.

I thought leaders were born?

I strongly disagree that leaders are born. Leaders are shaped by time and circumstance.

Where and when did deen come in the debate? Can you please elaborate so we can discuss that?

I would say its a combination both personal traits and society influence, that shape a leader.

You were new here, when we had this debate, you argued that "Ikhtilaf e rai, aik naimat hy" and I said that "Ikhtilaf e rai, firqa wariat ko chupanay ka aik bhana hy" ....... so that was our first disagreement.

True but they are not born leaders. Unless ofcourse messianism corrupts the society to that extent.

I choose to still stick by that statement that unless and until it is directly against the tenants of Islam as mentioned in the Quran. For example you may choose to say we should opt for Nuclear Energy and some may say we should go for renewable energy. Will that make you a nuclear sect vs the other party's renewable sect?

I am still new here by the way.
