It is really sad (and may sound racist), but these illiterate, uncivilized, kashtagharay have destroyed many tourist places and have annoyed many local populace. This new generation of Pathan (mostly uneducated shitheads) are a curse for any tourist spot. They destroy, they misbehave, they act like headless chicken, do drugs in those places and contribute nothing to local economy. They should be banned from entering any of these areas unless they bring their women with them.

I have met many locals in those areas and all of them were unanimous in saying .... "These pathan are dirty, unwanted tourists". And most probably in a two or three years time humble hospitable locals would be made to change their attitude, just because these idiots cannot behave.

I would suggest to visit and see for yourself. Your comments sitting in far away land cannot replace my opinion based on what I witnessed, what I saw and what I heard. So please keep that advice to yourself.

Read my post again. I said its not limited to Pathans. I am certain the problem exists but it exists in Punjab too. I have encountered the same type of idiots snapping pictures of my family members in Lahore.

I don't disagree that problem doesn't exist with the society, my problem is destroying the tourists spots (remote isolated areas close to nature) for families. Start from Nathiagali to Naran ..... you would notice a clear difference of attitude and behavior between Pathan tourists (mostly these young uncivilized guys) and any other local tourist. Its a recent trend where these young kashtagaray (totally opposite of what their forefathers stood for) have started going in packs to tourist spots, they contribute nothing to the local economy instead destroy the place, listen to loud music and dance like monkeys, no regard for women and families, they even do drugs there. Ask the local population there whenever you get the chance to visit that place, they will tell you, the real tourism will start when Karachites and Lahoris would come.

I am sorry that you and your family were made to go through this ordeal. Cities are all like this, that's why you go to those other places to escape the hell ..... but if those other places end up offering the same its no use then. By the way Lahoris still behave when they are out of their city (they know locals would react), but these ullu kay pathay high on their ghairat would soon start fights in those areas.

I agree that such eve teasing is not limited to Pashtun or any one community but I have seen this mindset only in pahstoon that they think everyone else is behsharm ,behaya, less geerutmund than pahstun just because non Pashtun women work and not as conservative as women in kpk or tribal areas

We need a mass education program. Rather than watching mindless media wars, a mass education program should be introduced tackling the rampant illiteracy and halt the degradation of ethical values in the society.

Pakistan was not ready for free media in 2002 and people like me told the authorities back then as well. Hopefully the new government will tackle these issues head on once installed in power.

New government? That's only possible if the usual suspects somehow die and leave this Earth and Pakistan, otherwise the same old faces are hardly a new government.

Rampant illiteracy will live another 40 to 50 years based on average life in Pakistan, we can start with the toddlers but the problem is they may not be able to witness the beautiful Pakistan by the time they are in their youth.
