CHINESE WAR DEADLINE EXPIRES- THEY JUST CAN'T STOP THEIR HUMILIATON

The problem is Bhutanese government refused to acknowledge that publicly. I agree all territorial disputes should be settled by peaceful means.

That is their choice. We cannot compel them to shout on their rooftops about this.

China and Bhutan have held 24 rounds of talks already. Had India not interfered, they should have settled all their disputes by now.

And what did those 24 rounds do? Nothing.

Because Bhutan is simply not satisfied and without involving us it cannot get an equitable deal in this mid-series 'disputes' which are more and more cropping up all of a sudden but was silent for decades before this.

I daresay we would expect more 'disputes' to rise as China's economy grows.

This is not the path for Asia.

You may want to read what Bhutanese have to say about this issue,

The private media doesn't make communications between governments of India and Bhutan. Foreign ministries with qualified officials and know-how do. They take such a major decision not on the basis of some wild internet report but through facts on the ground.

So far, Bhutan's foreign ministry has communicated to our ministry regarding the issue and hence troop deployment took place.

He is actually right, Bhutan's territorial disputes with China not being solved is India's fault

It has nothing to do with Chinese being a imperialistic delusional greedy bunch:

This is confirmed by former Bhutan's king himself in conversions with an American diplomat:

¶10. (C) The Fourth King confided, "the Bhutanese have never looked fondly on China" given its actions in Tibet in the 1950s and 1960s; consequently, the government pursues a "cautious policy" with China. His Majesty also divulged that negotiations on the demarcation of Bhutan's northern border have not progressed because China has been "surprisingly difficult." He explained many Bhutanese had expected greater "generosity" from China given its relative size; however, China has frustrated Bhutanese negotiators by offering to return land that already belongs to Bhutan in exchange for land in disputed areas. Stalled border talks have prevented Bhutan from opening trade routes with its northern neighbor, despite reports from the Economic Minister that China is "very keen" to proceed.

Why China does't have any military action yet?

1 First , China does not want a war. China has a lot priorities before this. But will China let Indian stay with such a lame excuse?

2 China needs time to prepare. One basical military principle is: Do not fight where your enemy want to fight,Do not
fight the way your enemy want to fighter. It needs time for preparation.
Unlike the Indians, who are already ready for anything.....:cheesy: China are not ready for what is coming, we needs more time. China will not play standoff as expected. We dont play as enemy expected.

As I said, a virtual hostage situation: return waht is already rightfully the other persons' in exchange for a ransom of another incentive.

Before this incident we tool China more seriously than Pakistan. But I think Pakistan is much better when it comes to action than chinese. All talk..no balls. Infact they created a n unbreakable record of warnings. Like seriously man... Cmon please stop those empty warnings and have some shame and some balls.

"Give and take", this is what international relationship is all about. Better than killing each other in wars.

Give parts of your state for a part of theirs; don't disguise what was already theirs as an instrument of exchange for another part of land.

Just let relevant parties take care their own business.

It is very surprising to see this form of Communist state media.

I was expecting a very silent sort of all-action-no-bluster situation and even wondering whether we should prepare ourselves for a skirmish (the place is barely about 200 Km from my place).

Turns out, this entire exercise was such a waste of energy for our and Bhutanese troops.
