Our boys aren't violent, they're the very antithesis of violent. In regards to this ship, under territorial law, is under the jurisdiction of the Philippines. The United States, by principle, will uphold what is necessary. When one of our anti-mining ships was caught, the Navy gutted the ship and scrapped the pieces, and struck the name of that ship from our rosters. In addition, the Navy has agreed to pay the fee of some $1.4 million worth of damages to the reefs to the Philippine Government.
