This is good but we need more people exchanges. It is a good thing that two governments enjoy good relationships. But Ordinary citizens need more knowledges of each other.

When I was a kid, China used to import Pakistan movies. One made in 1981 was a huge hit. The Chinese translation is 永恒的爱情 (Eternal love), not sure about the Urdu name. Both the movie and the song was huge hits that the song was sung in Urdu at the time by some Chinese singers. It is said the movie is made in Lahore. (Some in Shalimar Gardens) Here's the song (after 30s commerical):

Eternal love

Not sure whether there're Pakistan movies playing in China now.

Wow, bro, this song, "Tujhe Pyar kerte kerte, Meri Umr beet jaye" is one of the famous songs from old Pakistani movies. Back then, we really had some great movies being made here, actors were legendary of that time.

Anyways, wait for next Pakistani movie WAAR, you'll love it :)

There are plenty of members of the public as well as of this forum who support establishment of a dark age Mulla Omer type Emirates in Pakistan. Should these forces succeed, we should forget culture and heritage of Pakistan of ancient times.

There were no indigenous people living in Pakistan before 7th century. Our history begins with Mohammed Bin Qasim and our culture is either of the Arabian Desert or culture of Afghan tribes. Names of old towns such as Lahore, Sialkot, Gujarat, Gujranwala etc., that remind us of the people who were here before Mohammed bin Qasim should be changed.

And good bye to Sufi saints such as Data Sahib, Baba Farid and Bahuddin Zakaria. According to Wahabis, celebrating their Urs constitutes ‘shirk’. Remember what Sufi Mohammed did to graves of the Saints in swat!

"Tujhe Pyar kerte kerte, Meri Umr beet jaye", that just sounds right. :smitten: What does it mean? Chinese translation is like "I will love you for my whole life, and that won't change until death". The girl is really pretty, even as a kid, I could not help but bursting into tears when she died (in the movie). Very romantic and that's the reason I can still remember it.
