Chinese troops transgress into Indian territory in Uttarakhand

Uttarakhand: As the standoff between the Indian and Chinese troops at the Sikkim border continues, sources have told Times Now that Chinese soldiers transgressed into the Indian borders again, this time in Uttarakhand.
Around 10 to 11 Chinese soldiers transgressed into Uttarakhand's Barahoti in Chamoli district on July 25 at about 9 am and came into Indian territory to a distance of around 800m to 1 km, sources say.
India and China are engaged in a standoff at Sikkim's Doklam sector and China has been accusing India of trespassing into its territory and stopped the construction of the road, a road that India and Bhutan said is Bhutanese territory.
The meeting held last week between India's National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and Chinese President Xi Jinping was devoid of any breakthrough moment that could end the current Sikkim standoff.
Both New Delhi and Beijing have kept a firm stand on their demands and have even displayed battle-readiness in the Dokalam area. While the diplomatic relations between the two countries are slumping downwards, there has been no effect on trade ties as of now.
