It's India's bad luck that New Delhi is only 300km from the border when even China's conventional rocket artillery has a range of over 400km. China's manufacturing base can churn out endless rocket artillery shells, every target in North and Northeastern India will be in range.

The only reason India has AP today is because China voluntarily withdrew.

Dude, you know better than that.

China withdrew because once the snow fell and the passes got blocked, it would have shut off the supply lines.

It was not possible to maintain PLA presence in AP. Better leave "voluntarily" than be kicked out involuntarily.

NEW DELHI: In another transgression, Chinese troops entered India in the Sikkim sector and jostled with Indian army personnel guarding the Sino-India frontier, besides destroying two bunker.

The face-off has been going on in Doka La general area in Sikkim for the past ten days and the Chinese troops have also stopped the batch of pilgrims that was proceeding for Kailash Mansovar yatra, official sources said today.

The Indian troops had to struggle hard to stop the Chinese personnel from advancing further into Indian terrotory. They formed a human wall along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) to stop the PLA personnel, some of whom also videographed and click pictures of the incident.

The bunkers has been destroyed in Lalten area of the Doka La area.

A flag meeting was also held between senior army officers of both the sides on June 20, but the tension still continues.

It is not the first time that such a transgression has happened at the Doka La, a place at the Sikkim-Bhutan-Tibet tri-junction.

The Chinese forces had in November 2008 destroyed some makeshift Indian army bunkers at the same place.

Meanwhile, China refused to tell why it had stopped a group of Indian pilgrims from travelling to Kailash Mansarovar, saying the foreign ministries of both countries are in touch over the issue.

"According to my information, the foreign ministries of the two countries are maintaining communication on the issue," Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Geng Shuang said when asked about the reason for the move.

Last week, the first batch of 47 Indian pilgrims was stopped by Chinese authorities at the international border.

On Friday, India said there were "some difficulties" in the movement of Indian pilgrims to Kailash Mansarovar via the Nathu La pass in Sikkim and it was holding discussions with China.

"Yes, there are some difficulties being experienced in the movement of yatris via Nathu La and the matter is being discussed with the Chinese side," Indian foreign ministry spokesperson Gopal Baglay had said to a question on the yatra being disrupted through Nathu La route.

Reports suggest the Chinese had taken the decision due to the landslides in Tibet.

The Nathu La route was opened to Indian pilgrims in 2015.

Every year, hundreds of Indian undertake the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra.

Earlier, Indian pilgrims would take a longer route via the Lipulekh Pass route in Uttarakhand.

The development also comes amid bilateral tensions over various issues, including India boycotting the One Belt One Road summit in Beijing and China scuttling India's NSG bid

Everything is on videotape!

That's the funny thing about this weird dance between India and china in the border. Everything is videotaped ....and no one ever actually gets killed.

Couple years back, India destroyed some Chinese built roads in the same area - also videotaped - again not a single soldier either side hurt.
