Check how much resources and army China stations along that part of the border and find it out. India's whole border stretching from end to end will be burning and for China that's only a very small part of ours.

Americans killed millions in Vietnam, I hardly call that winning for Vietnam.

China won the Korean war in the sense, Chinese leadership never thought they could unify Korea. In fact two top generals refused the Korea assignment for exactly that reason. They thought it was a wasteful war against a superpower for very little gain.

China in Vietnam was worse, we just came out of the cultural revolution, Vietnam just outlasted America and smashed South Vietnam, they were THE military power in Asia bar none. So yes, it was a defeat.

We must analyze each case rationally, or else, I can say China had experience commanding millions of men, while 600,000 is the most India had commanded at one time. Or that China has experience fighting a super power, India, less so. These facts don't matter today, so to bring them up now is stupid.

You want to talk today, lets do it with facts. 60% of PLA is made up of post secondary graduates. China has a ABCT and air assault brigade in the area. You can see my post in the forum.

Chinese joint command is truly integrated, and with the reforms in the central government, much has been streamlined. What used to be 4 departments in charge of dozens of offices, now theres 15 offices reporting directly to one command.

Chinese theatre command has total control over local battlefield and all of its components, be it air, land or sea.

India has none of these. For a country that keeps saying it is 62, I sure have to bring up the past a lot, and not much talk of the present.

Lastly, this isn't directed at you, but if anyone repeat that idiots' statement of China being a conscript army, a blatant lie proven false(should be unnecessary since this is a military forum and everyone needs the basics.) with no response other than to post somewhere else of his lie, i will block you.
