Clinical trial is not a right subject to compare. A better one would be IVF. All I want to know is how the newborns with wrong traits are taken care of. Who will be responsible for that. If this DNA engineering runs like IVF, I am probably OK with it. If it sacrifices failed results (many traits have to wait until much later age to reveal) before the technology becomes successful, I will be against it.
