CHINESE SCIENTISTS COLLECT DNA FROM SMART PEOPLE TO ENGINEER GENIUS BABIES !

What are important to societies are revolutionaries ( in whichever field ). Ones willing to take risks.

As for patents, knowledge must be made open-source and free to all.

@jetray , go through the below post of mine :

That is my point - In South Asia, education means college degrees. Taking risks and being revolutionaries ( in whichever field ) is generally discouraged.

What we need are people like Elon Musk and Faiz Ahmed Faiz.

More importantly the birthrate of inferior low IQ people needs to be globally curtailed. Otherwise human progress will halt and living in tne jungle will become the norm.

.
You need to be good at BOTH education & employment. That is how civilised societies progress. The birth rate of inferior peoples needs to be seriously curbed.

there is no such as inferior people, even inferior people can give a birth to "superior" people.

. . .
If you are referring to the success of Israel as a society then don't you think it is more to do with a sense of survival of Israel??
Survival instinct of Israel partially contributes to its success but the population of Ashkanazi Jews have high average IQ throughout different geographies. Only a quarter of Ashkenazi Jews live in Israel (2.8 million), while half of the population lives in US (5-6 million) and other western nations.

They tend to posses a sizeable highly intelligent elite population (not saying every Ashkenazi jew is highly intelligent) and is able to dominate western institutions in about 2-3 generations of settling there. The ratio of Ashkanazi Jews within leading positions of important institutions relative to their population is disproportionately high. They sometimes hide/downplay their Jewish identity to blend in with the local European descended population to avoid discrimination.

Their contribution to the west and humanity is undeniable.

If a society values education and intelligent activities then that society will naturally increase its average intelligence and cultural wealth over time through reproductive selection and epigenetics.

Poor societies tend to be more conservative and being out of the box and revolutionary is often discouraged. There is good reason for that. The society hasn't built up the industry and surplus to enable a safety net in case that out of the box thinking fails. We hear about the successful ones like Elon Musk but we don't hear about the countless failures, even SpaceX failed to launch many times. In addition what enabled him his success in high tech field is an already developed industrial base with a large pool of talent, he didn't do everything himself. Just because a person fails doesn't mean that person is a failure. Failure is necessary for success, they just need to learn from that experience and try again but a society without the necessary surplus won't enable that person to do so. This tends to create an environment of discouraging breakthrough thinking. If a society wants people like Elon Musk then the most important thing them to do is to build up surplus, industry, and technology to create an environment to enable these people to fail and try again.

Chinese are going the Nazi way
I have seen some Chinese justify WW2 massacres, deaths during Great Leap stating that these were natural eugenics program to eliminate lower IQ Chinese based on the principle of survival of fittest.

Pretty disturbing

.
I'd prefer an example of a group of people rather than a small number of individuals.

Put it simple, human today is more superior from human 100 years ago.
and the one who gave birth to superior people is inferior people from the past.
we soon will become relic for superior people in the future.

we human born equal, it's depand on variable x that make us different.
Chinese on PDF love to mocking indian on IQ issue, but that's for trolling purpose, we don't take that for serious.

You can check all richest people in China, nearly all are from the grass root.

BAT, Baidu, Alibaba, Tencent, China's three biggest IT companies, also among world's biggest
Their founders are all from ordinary family.
Their first investments were not from their parents, unlike their american counterparts such as Trump and Bill Gates.

Nearly all.
So are most politicians.
Movement between social classes in China is very easy, easy in the sense that one makes an effort, one's fate will be changed.
There is not old wealth style in the west or primitive social construction in some supa powa that hinders such movement.

My father was from a poor county in Central China, he is a university professor now.

My grandpa was sent to the countryside to teach during the cultural revolution.
All his students were from the dirty poor families deep in the mountains.
His students include province governor, generals, IT company CEOs, top 10 medical centre professors, etc.
Check school 箴言中学 in the mountainous village of 石笋乡
His funeral was the biggest I have ever seen, cars lined up for miles.

You make interesting points.

It is true that the US Airforce and NASA continued to support SpaceX to continue to test-launch the Falcon 1 rocket even after the first three launches failed.

And also that it took from 2002 to 2011 to test-launch the Falcon 1.
