Ultimately it is not the weapons or technology that will destroy the Indian forces but the training and expertise of operating those weapons. The Indians for some reason believe without training they will stand a chance against the Chinese. Just like the PLA slapped them in mountain warfare back in 1962, they will do so again in the future, should war arise.

Why Indian army never drills? over confidence or lack of funds? Most Indian weapons are foreign so it should take average Indian soldiers more time to get familiar with them.

Maybe after a live fire drill India will have no ammunition left to fight a real war, after all all those weapons and ammunition are bought from foreign suppliers, it'll take time for new supplies to arrive.
