Chinese Oil Embargo Paralyzes N.Korean Army

1) To prove that China has interest in N. Korea and wants it stayed like that
2) They're improving nukes. Better attack now. Also US can have patriot missles and use many of their hidden tech. A war with N. Korea is enivitable. There is no way N. Korea won't start killing when the regime is about to fall.
3) Read my post again. Famine has to stay, without anyone coming to help. Let the people die. Don't ship them any food and even gasoline and the regime will crumble. Problem is, soon we see people dying, we go in an instant and help them out. The koreans than blame some general or anyone, have them executed and get away with the deaths. Those citizens are naive, they don't know what's happening. Moreover, it certainly isn't self sustaining regime. Does it produce enough oil to feed its military? I don't think so. If it was self sustaining, there would never be any famine.

So let them die and do not send any help. It takes a while for revolution to become strong.

May be the situation is too unpredictable and volatile with the crazier Kim's coming to power one after another after their father's death? So no one wants to rock to boat and take the blame for triggering a war? Things will go on as it is for the time being, unless someone screws up and makes a blunder and trigger something no one can stop.

Hey friend, I found that you are quite enlighten and liberal. Are you really from Bangladesh?

I wasn't talking to you, so no need to quote me.

老美支持以色列,开罪伊斯兰。阿共支持金三胖,出来混,迟早要还的。

金朝倒不倒是一回事, 中国支持它就是伤天害理。

North Koreans will hate Chinese, if one day they are freed.

Why ain't you piss off with me when I say so many bad things about radical Islam?

I understand your feeling, you are ethnic Chinese from S E Asia and Indonesia and Malaysia region has some bitter history with Chinese minorities.

I am also against Radical Islam. Besides, I try to understand people and where they come from. So I can empathize with your feeling because if I was in your shoes, I would probably feel the same way about Radical Islam and project that idea and generalize it towards Islam and all Muslims.

I may not agree with all your ideas, but I find that you have some good insights, which I appreciate.

1. It's futile to draw inferences about current intentions from a war that occurred 65 years ago. As the wikileaks cable shows, China no longer has such an existential fixation on a "buffer state".
2. I don't understand your point here. Even in its current "primitive" stage, N. Korean nukes can definitely strike S. Korea and Japan (as well as China and Russia for that matter). It's not a matter of racing against the clock to stop them from acquiring these capabilities. MAD is already here.
3. You seem to think China and others bailed them out from the famine which aborted whatever revolution you were hoping for. In reality, the famine raged for a full 5 years from 1994-1998, and significant external aid only came about the turn of the millennium. You really underestimate how stable the N. Korea regime is.

1)Then china should stop giving free or cheap luxuries to north korea. Correct me if i'm wrong, but last i checked, they still do.
2) look at palestine and israel, constant threat. True palestine doesn't have nukes, but US can destroy all locations of n korea nuke storage.. They can't be having hundreds of them.
3) Significant aid came in... That has to stop forever till the regime collapse. The famine comes, kills a large population and it comes small population again. It can't survive with big population, so people die every now and then. And many nations give aid.

We have somewhat same point, but lets say, different approach/thoughts

2. The US can only destroy them in a comprehensive nuclear first strike. Do you really think they would escalate it to this level? The entire Korean peninsula, parts of northeast China and Russia would be an irradiated mess. It would be a war crime.
3. Dude, what you are advocating is genocide. The famine lasted for five years and there was no sign of the regime collapsing. At that point, withholding food aid would be simply inhumane.

3) No, it's not genocide at our hands, but at regimes hand. We can use the resources and given to poor african nation instead. At the end, same amount of people will die, but one will result in a major regime change. I said that earlier in my posts, which you missed.

I value lives of African more than N. Koreans and I'd save them before the N. Koreans

3. You still haven't demonstrated how withholding food aid can result in regime change, especially when experience suggests the complete opposite is true.

And that comment about valuing African lives more than Koreans makes you sound like a racist troll. Are you being serious here?

I don't have proof but it's my opinion... I think prolonged famine will result in army rebelling against the 'leader'
I'm not black. Africans deserve more because they have poor conditions and die as a result, whereas koreans die because of their regime. Look at how advance south is, than look at north.

Who would you give breed to, the person who lives in desert or the person who lives under dictatorship and is somewhat ok with it?

.
1, we can not assess the past case' possible fruits from nowadays view points.
2. If no countries get involved in korea's war, north korea has united all korea, not divided.
3. But it is not lucky, now north korea is poorer than south korea.that isn't our intention.
