curious, what is this protocol of sailors in formation on deck when naval ships call on a port, is it to symbolically show that weapons systems are not being manned or.. ?
@Capt.Popeye @Penguin or anyone else
If Chinese ships or subs dock in Lanka or Pakistan, Indians made a big fuss about it. India should complain even more that it's docked in Bombay.
Not at all.... w.r.t the underlined part of your post. This is called "manning the rail"; just like in the old days of Sailing Ships (Tall Ships) the "masts would be manned". It is a symbolism; that is a gesture of respect.
That is simply daft ...... as you usually tend to be! In a suitable reaction let me tell you; that it is the PLAN that will make a fuss if the Indians keep that ship under detention in Mumbai Harbor.
Oh no! Indian could not sleep tonight and they will pees in their pants. Everyone in PDF spare them some diapers.
PLAN 052C DDG docked at India Mumbai (It's 052C-class, Indian news media used wrong pic)
