Among all major civilization, Chinese state is the most off hand over overseas ethnic Chinese. While Muslims attempts to influence adherent often in detriment of their nations states.

which is a great foundation for China to become a better and more acceptable global power than the US is or the USSR was. My comments point out to the fact that this foundation might crumble if China starts to resort to race-based policies.

And I think it will not cause alarm or wrong message to other countries.
Because many Indonesian citizens also have Green card in Australia, US, Canada without having problem with their Indonesian citizenship. This ECC more or less like that.

China itself today have what it's called an Ethnic Visa Program. So as long as you can proof one of your ancestor are Chinese Citizens, you can easily get 5 year multiple entry Visa

That would not be the case.

Chinese citizens not only enjoy social and economic rights, but also political ones, such as the right to vote, to stand for election and to serve as a civil servant. They would not be able to participate in the NPC (National People’s Congress) election or serve as members of the CPPCC (Chinese People’s Political Consultative Congress). In addition, they would not be able to serve in state organs or hold certain positions in state-owned enterprises. So the ECC only entitles its holders to specific advantages within the Nationality Law for Chinese foreign nationals whose skill sets are under demand. It would not equate to the acquisition of Chinese nationality. Not all Chinese foreign nationals would be able to get the card, although it would be easier to obtain than the Chinese green card. There are certain requirements to obtain a green card. For example, the applicant must have a talent in a specific field, have special skills necessary for developing the economy and society, or be willing to make large investments in China

What ECC would mean is not the my critic point. Rather the basis that justifies that issuance of such card. I have German green card (Niederlassungserlaubnis) that allows me to have full economic and residence rights plus benefits that come with them. But I dont have to be a member of a certain race to receive such card and I underwent rigorous application procedures to receive the card just like any other applicants. This includes job and income status, educations, proven contribution to society, etc.

My point is, if ECC is made easier for Chinese only and not for other foreign nationals under the same circumstances, that would send a wrong message.

China is meeting population crisis, ageing trend is very fast and obvious. I agree with your points. In my opinion, China will change immigration policy in near future. The limit of immigration will be loosened for all immigrants. Overseas Chinese can use this chance if they want to return China. They have nature strength to build up solid social networks in China quickly and get used to local life sucessfully.

And this ECC System is not based on race (Han race), but based on Citizenship of their ancestor, in this case applied to all grandchild or great granchildren of Chinese citizens or if they don't have proof of their great grandfather Chinese citizenship, they can apply for Chinese Certificate from Overseas Chinese Affairs Office

Indeed bro, unlike Japan. China have unique advantages regarding Demographics issue. China have the largest Overseas community.

And of course it's better and easier to have Immigrant from Overseas Chinese which have same culture, same working habits, and same value of life than foreign people

But yes, China should not close the door for Immigration of Foreign people also.
