BEIJING: A Chinese military expert has accused India of "violating" Beijing's diplomatic rights and "spying" on its military ware while

inspecting the cargo plane of the UAE Air Force which was detained in Kolkata.

"The actions by Indian authorities violated diplomatic rights as the cargo on board belong to China," Dai Xu, a renowned military expert, said.

"Any inspection onboard, which may have violated China's property rights and constituted spying on its military secrets, should be approved by both the UAE and China," Dai was quoted as saying by the state-run 'Global Times'.

It also quoted an unnamed military source as telling the paper, a sister publication of the ruling Communist Party's mouthpiece, the People's Daily, that the UAE airplane, a C-130 Hercules, was on a mission transporting Chinese arms from an arms expo in Abu Dhabi.

India released the China-bound cargo plane on September 10, four days after it was grounded in Kolkata for not declaring the consignment of arms and ammunition it was carrying. The 10 crew members were also interrogated.

India gave the clearance after it was told by UAE authorities that its pilot had committed a "technical error" over declaring the on-board arms and ammunition for which they expressed regret.

Sir i think china telling india that it should not check anything that comes in india as if china the king. Sir its strange when UAE said sorry to india and admitted it was their mistake not flying under defence code. It seems china lost its mind sir. They saying anything that comes in their mouth. It shows how much china is annoyed sir.

China needs to understand that it cannot supply anything from the Indian territory without the permission of the government.

What you think guys???

Even though the Indians attempted to spy on the secrets, they are still incapable of reverse engineer it.

They may however produce tons of reports to show that they are hard on work to please their supervisors.

What has that got to do with breaking of air-traffic violations by UAE aircraft? If it was returning from an arms expo, why hide the fact?
And hey, when we are getting the BEST defense technology money can buy (and we are paying for it), why would we be interested in copying defense tech which are cheap copies/knockoffs themselves! Does it make sense of reverse engineering technology which itself was reverse engineered from outdated technology?
IMVHO, China can go "pleasure" itself!

If Indians were to reverse engineer they would have reverse engineered the American technology.

But we believe in the mutual interests and the efforts and hard work put on by Americans to develop the same. If there are terms they should be respected. Though such unethical reverse engineering may serve the short terms goals but such things hamper the long term allied interests.

Everybody learns from everybody, some more than others. Much of the mathematical, scientific and cultural "discoveries" that are wrongly attributed to Europeans/Americans were in fact Chinese origin (many going through Persia, Arabs first before arriving in Europe).

Did you know there's no such supporting evidence for 'Pythagoreas' theorem, but hundreds of years PRIOR it was invented/discovered in China?!!!! Also the violin and guitar (one being the main instrument of classical music, the other modern) is a CHINESE INVENTION?!!!!

These are just a few of the examples. Contrast that with India's contributions.....

So please get off your high-donkey. The envy India feels is that they can't even produce, invent or create the most basic stuff they mock China of.

To the dumb Chinese "expert" -

Uhh... if you want to enter Indian airspace and refuel at our airports, follow our rules. If not, fly your shiny weapons with crap technology from somewhere else.

I do agree with your first points about achievements of China and as well as with the discoveries wrongly attributed.

As far as envying China is concerned we do envy China as well as take it as role model to have developed their economy so well. But there are always blotches on the achievements like as that of reverse engineering.... There are many things which can you claim about India but see no one is perfect neither India nor China

I know! Only Pakistan and China are capable, or rather have the audacity, of reverse engineering because they are incapable of developing anything all by themselves.

Now.. do you want to act like a grown-up or do you prefer to continue with these rants?

In the United States and many other countries, even if an artifact or process is protected by trade secrets, reverse-engineering the artifact or process is often lawful as long as it is obtained legitimately. ...

Why don't you just say you can't, not won't!
