I can't find out reports issued at that time. We remember the reporters wrote something like shocked, scared etc, obviously you are not welcome.

Thats the reporters' perspective. Remember the U.S. Navy invited China to RIMPAC exercises and some disagree with that view.

What do you mean would? Their mouthpieces and officials scream like little kids when the PLAN is just getting near their ships and "Western" waters, exactly the opposite of their projecting headlines about China being always angry when the PLAN just nicely tells them to **** off, followed by their routine face saving response call that they totally dont care and have the right to be dicks that dont respect international norms, but then of course always change course and do **** off.
