It's not like you.. we don't feel comfortable on showing off rip offs.. and I still suggest PLA to not take this piece of copy cat...

Really? but your IAF chief said otherwise though, he seems to be very comfortable and encouraged regarding "reverse engineering", perhaps you should organize a protest against your IAF chief for his disgusting, shameful suggestion thats responsible for hurting your superior Indian's pride eh?
IAF vice-chief prefers reverse engg to build defence systems

Indians have no ability even in reverse engineering, let alone creativity. The number of their patent filings is only 1/10 of China's, and they like to laugh China's creativity, lol. If you ask what they have invented in history, they will tell you "Zero".

While we should thank Indians for "Zero", the concept of 0 had been existed in China and Europe for very long time.

Hee is Spanish home vesion, this is not the AGM HUMVEE

The URO VAMTAC (Vehículo de Alta Movilidad Táctico, "High Mobility Tactical Vehicle") is a Spanish four-wheel drive military vehicle manufactured by the UROVESA. It is similar in appearance and design to the HMMWV of the United States military. More than 2,000 of the vehicles have been delivered to the Spanish Armed Forces. Several other countries operate the VAMTAC as well, and it has seen service most recently in Afghanistan. The vehicle comes in two models, named I3 and S3, and has several configurations.

The URO VAMTAC was developed by the Spanish company URO, Vehiculos Especiales S.A. to meet the requirement of the Spanish military for a multipurpose, air-portable, high mobility off-road vehicle with good payload capacity. After the vehicle was tested by the Spanish Ministry of Defence, UROVESA received a five year contract and the URO VAMTAC was produced from 1998 to 2003. In October 2005, the Ministry of Defence awarded a new five year contract for the URO VAMTAC after a three month trial period. This also introduced some changes, and the two models of the vehicle which were named T3 and T5, were re-designated as I3 and S3 respectively. The URO VAMTAC is similar in appearance and design to the US military's High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV or Humvee), due to the fact that both vehicles were designed to meet similar requirements and specifications.

EQ2050/SQF2040 - Chinese versions of the HMMWV. There are at least two Chinese automobile manufacturers building HMMWV copies. Both HMMWV copies rely heavily on imported U.S.-made parts including chassis, gear box, and diesel engine. It appears that at least one company, Dongfeng Motor Corporation (DFM), has the full consent and cooperation of the General Motors Corporation. Both manufacturers claimed that they will be able to gradually increase the percentage of indigenous-made content on the vehicles in the future, since the PLA is unlikely to accept any equipment that relies largely on foreign made parts.

Who says?? They are making 1,700 seater plane. AH HAhahaha.

1,700-seater indigenous aircraft soon - The Times of India

PANAJI: Union minister of state for science, technology and earth sciences Ashwani Kumar said a 1,700-seater passenger aircraft will be rolled out in the next seven years.

Speaking in Panaji, Kumar said development of the aircraft is in an advanced stage and hoped India will be able to produce this state-of-the-art indigenous passenger aircraft soon.

“This will lead to the development of 34 to 40 new aircraft,” Kumar said. He said this would have a tremendous impact in connecting 2-tier and 3-tier cities. “There are many countries developing such aircraft but India and China are front runners,” he said. The aircraft is being designed and developed by the National Aerospace Laboratory, Bangalore.

That's his opnion... But we really appreciate your efforts like J-20 and other stuff those seems formidable, Why Chinese designer didn't come up with some original design instead of copying a car.. Was it really hard for them to desgin ? It's really shameful when you are developing your own 5th gen fighter and same time comming up with rip off HumVEE...

So my point would be same.. PLA should not include it in its inventory...

Wow! I wonder as to how "indigenous" it would be

Much of the parts needed to build any aircraft in India must be imported.

I am very baffled by this story. A380 is 500 people max and it takes special runways.
If this is a typo, it is 1.7 seater, 17 seater or 170 seater?? Or are they truly trying for a 1,700 seater??
