So basically India agreed with new Status Quo. Well done.

Conclusion this guy arrived at: So basically India agreed with new Status Quo. Well done.

All those professors who wrote books on logical reasoning:

Pangong Tso or Pangong Lake
Water on the Chinese side is fresh water, clean and drinkable. a lot of fish and water bird thrive on the Chinese side of the lake, water on the Indian side is salt water, nothing grows in and around the lake, drinking water has to be transported to local Indian troops there.

Tourist tries drinking water from Pangong Lake

China will also tender a apology for trespassing and give assurance of good behavior i believe.
I believe the belligerent American new administration was also instrumental in this Chinese retreat. Trump was anti war , no new wars in his tenure.
But biden is a old school president and the Chinese know a spanking is coming.

Currently tanks are being pulled back.
Just after Chinese realized Biden is not going to be soft on China, they accepted the disengagement plan proposed by India in November.
How predictable.

Pangong Tso or Pangong Lake

The eastern part of the lake is fresh, with the content of total dissolved solids at 0.68 g/L, while the western part of the lake is saline, with the salinity at 11.02 g/L .

The brackish water of the lake has very low micro-vegetation. Guides report that there are no fish or other aquatic life on the Indian side of the lake, except for some small crustaceans. On the other hand, visitors see numerous ducks and gulls over and on the lake surface. There are some species of scrub and perennial herbs that grow in the marshes around the lake.

The tibetan freedom force SFF was for the first time given such open prominence by the Indian government, both in media and in the marching contingents. And this is since 1962.
Whatever China's intent was for the ill fated trespassing, it has resulted in India openly rubbing salt into Chinese weaknesses wrt tibet.
I seriously don't see xi surviving this year .
