Chinese film industry aims to challenge Hollywood

. .
But, where are they now? Why are those three off line now? Why do they come together all time? Why do they leave the forum together?

Why are they unnecessarily obsessed with China india relationship? Why do they always advocate india's progress? Why are they discourage Chinese members when they make befitting replies to indians?

These are the questions. I have been studying them since they joined the forum. I came back because of their drama... a monotonous China india friendship soap opera....

Very Well said mate, could not agreed more, have you notice chinese dragon always suspect chinese members and acused them hiding under a false flag.

Bro, they can confuse and deceive anyone, but can't do that to me.

Just, consider the timing they joined the forum almost together. It has been when india has been somehow cornered in regional geo-politics and needs China's support.

UNSC permanent membership, Kashmir solution, india's homegrown naxalism, CWG mismanagement, india's economic requirements.... and many others. In all these issues, india needs China.

india will use China and then throw it into the dustbin.

Innumerable number of indian agents have infiltrated into China to build an intelligence network in China for espionage, innumerable number of trained and Chinese language proficient cyber agents are now engaged in brainwashing Chinese diaspora.

Here in this forum, their first objective is to create misunderstanding between Pakistani and Chinese. Thats why they open threads on such topics as China india co-operation friendship. Thats why they advocate that China should abandon Pakistan for the sake of india...

Co-operation my foot.... :sniper:

Chinese film industry challenging Hollywood, this is some similar remarks our own film industry Bollywood also make

A lot of talks r also in India this days like how 1 of its movie Robot rival Hollywood in technology

But let me tell u people reality.. Hollywood is miles ahead of any of the other recognized film industries in the world

Their movies r not only example of brilliant art but also example of brilliant engineering

Their best part is that lot of research is also involved in their movies

Which other nations have produced movies like avatar,Titanic, terminator,Dark night,Lord of the rings and Jurassic park

in animation had anyone even come closer to their legendary Toy story and shrek franchises

One of the other thing how we flatter so much about their Oscars,on one hand both India, Chinese or any other film industry in the world claim about challenging Hollywood and on the other hand dreams most about getting awards to get international recognization, why would someone need the American Oscar's and golden globe's if our film is equivalent to them

Well on the other hand i love Chinese movies a lot, especially their Marshall art movies,Jackie chan is 1 of my favorite, not only mine,he is highly popular in India

i had heard a lot about the Chinese movie Red Cliff,i have heard it's the costliest Asian movie ever made, can anybody tell me about it more

No one in China is talking about challenging Hollywood except on our home turf. The title was chosen by the Guardian and since recently there's a flurry of articles on China and Hollywood I thought it's worth posting at least one of them and when reposting articles I usually prefer to keep the original title. Just consider the title as another example of Western misreporting on China. The body of the article is OK though.

As for Red Cliff, yes I think it's the most expensive Asian film to date with a $80 million budget, and it was a critical and commercial come back for John Woo. The SFX is not as good as the best of Hollywood, but it's done in China and helped growing local SFX companies and talents. Even with the rapidly growing domestic film market, I don't think China will attempt something on that scale again anytime soon. They only managed to pull this one off because of the pan-Asian film market (Red Cliff actually grossed more in the Japan than in China for example, plus very substantial box office intake in South Korea and South East Asia ).

Here's a Red Cliff trailer. The film's definitively worth a watch.

You're lacking some understanding for China, the Chinese martial arts films in the world, there are very big impact, I even surprised, I do not even know that the Iranians are very fascinated by the Chinese TV series and movies.

Please do not react to imbeciles. Please.

Also what surprises me is that those guys speak good English and seem to be well acquainted with such forums. So, if they really want to sing the disgusting China india friendship song, why don't they go to indian forum and directly interact with the indians? Why in this forum?

Bro, China needs to be cautious now. This is a very sensitive period we are passing through. I am afraid that indians might have already formed an indian lobby in the Chinese leadership. A faction of the civilian ministry seems to be too much pro india.

Chinese film industry can challenge Holywood but they can never dream to overtake it unless Chinese is spoken around the world like English and Chinese culture is widely followed like the western one...

Can some one recommend me a Chinese movie based on real accounts of WW2 on Chinese theater ?

Also realist one on Medieval China

The TV series "My Regiment, My Commander" 我的团,我的团长is about Chinese army in Burma theatre. It is closed to real situation except may be the final episodes.

China needs to be cautious about people hiding under false flags who could not speak a word in Chinese. :disagree: Did I mention that you also supported Imperial Japanese because they wished to "liberate" China from the European influences .
